Chapter 25: working together.

Ava, who had been watching everything unfold, couldn’t take it anymore. She had loved Leonard for more than fifteen years now. She once confessed her feelings for him, but he rejected her. She thought since he had been single for all this while, she felt he might like her too. Now seeing another woman in his embrace, she couldn’t take it.
