Chapter 369

Patrick's silence made him appear cowardly.

"Give me your phone," Wendy snapped at him.

"My phone number has been blocked too."

"Give it!" Wendy had lost her patience. She didn't believe a single word anybody else was saying now. All she wanted was to make the call.

When Patrick saw how demanding she was, he handed his phone to Wendy, who tossed it to Maxwell. She urged, "Keep calling!"

"Dad's right. She has blocked his number too."

"Call her!" Wendy was furious. Why were all these people talking about useless things? All they had to do was follow her instructions.

Watching Wendy's fierce attitude, Maxwell could only dial Kathryn's number as quickly as he could. However, all he heard was the dial tone of a phone that had been shut off.

"It's blocked." Maxwell handed the phone over. When Wendy realized that the number really was blocked and that none of them could get through to Kathryn, she was enraged.
