Kathryn looked at Chris' irritated look miserably. She had no idea what she did to anger him again.

"Ms. Adams just sent lunch over. Eat."

"Okay!" The moment Kathryn heard that lunch was ready, she dropped everything she was doing.

Chris' irritation disappeared just watching her act like a great burden had been lifted off her shoulders. "You hate this kind of work that much?" he asked with a smile.

"I'm used to hustling," Kathryn said. Growing up with her grandmother, she always knew the importance of knowledge and money.

That was why she'd spent her whole life either studying or working. To her, these crafts couldn't pay the bills, so learning them was a waste of time.
