Chris' plan was rather interesting.

Kathryn's role had shifted from being Chris's assistant to handling housekeeping tasks. Her dissatisfaction was evident, but she refrained from displaying it in Markus's presence.

Chris trusted Markus the most. Consequently, anything that occurred was likely to reach Chris's awareness.

If Kathryn voiced her concerns to Markus, it was probable that Chris would also be informed.

She could only tactfully complain, 'Isn't the lounge task something that can be completed in just half an hour?

Markus was silent.

"Besides, the lounge isn't a guest room. It doesn't require constant upkeeping. Isn't cleaning once a day enough?"

She only had to work for half an hour. What was she supposed to do for the rest of the day?

Markus nodded and said, "There may not be much to do now. But this is how tasks are assigned at the moment. We're training new staff too. Do this for now, and I will reassign you later."
