Chapter 1109

Benjamin had left Sunshine Bay after he had finished eating.

There wasn't any food left when Chris got back home.

It wasn't usual for Chris to get back home in the afternoons. Yet, the maids would always prepare extra food even though he seldom had lunch.

Chris was surprised.

"Do you want to have mine, instead?" Kathryn asked.

"What happened?"

Chris was confused. It wasn't something that had happened at Sunshine Bay before. He wondered if Kathryn's appetite had grown again.

The maid instinctively glanced at Kathryn. Kathryn was quite embarrassed as the maid and Chris were both looking at her.

Chris even looked at her like she had been eating like a pig.

Kathryn had to admit that it was true that she had a good appetite when she wasn't bothered by so many things. Yet, the way Chris was looking at her made her feel resentful.

She mumbled. "It was Benjamin who came here to eat. He finished the entire pot of pasta. I just had a small portion of it."
