Nate just looked at her and then smiled, "I want that drink, Ethel. The one that you made just for me," he said, but then Ethel refused.

"I'm no longer making that drink, Sir. If you don't need anything else, then I will leave now," she was about to walk when Nate grabbed her hands.

He genuinely looked at her, "I missed you."

It was then that Ethel's eyes started to wet. She was tearing up while looking at the man she used to love before: the man who ghosted her, the man who made her wait.

She slowly pulls her hands away from him. "How could you say that when you knew that you're the reason why we broke up!"
