His true identity

While on the drive, Ethel could feel the awkwardness between them. She stared outside the window, seeing the city lights made her feel a bit more at ease.

As her eyes fixed on the scenery outside, Nate spoke, "You look happier now," she then turned her head to face him.

She managed to put on a little smile. "Yes, you're right. I'm happier now."

Nate knew that she was seeing someone else. He then smiled at her and then he continued to put his focus on the road.

As they arrived at the bar, she opened the door and headed off. She looked at him for the last time.

"Thank you for taking me here," Nate nodded his head and then Ethel closed the door and headed inside the bar.

When she headed inside, she then saw Marcus right there. She frowned and walked towards him. "Why are you here? It's too early."

Marcus turned to face her. "I wanted to talk to you something," he said and Ethel's eyes were fixed on him, waiting for him to tell her.
