He's recovery

Ethel had been walking back and forth since earlier. She was still waiting for the doctor to come out of the operating room.

As the door opened, she hurriedly walked towards them. "Doctor? How is he? Is he-"

The doctor took a deep breath. "The operation was successful, but...he's still unconscious and we will monitor his situation."

She bowed her head. "Ah, I see. Thank you, Doctor."

Ethel headed towards his room. She heard all the beeping from the monitors around him. Tubes were inserted on him and a tear started to stream down her eyes.

"Why did you do that, Mister? You should have let me do it. I should have done it!"

Tears continued to fall from her eyes while looking at the unconscious man before her. She looked down and saw the tears dripped down to the floor.

"Mister... Please wake up! Please!" she shouted as she kneeled before him. She leaned her head towards the bedside and cried.
