The following day, Nate had been very busy handling and settling all the evidence he had against Ramon Anderson.

He was still in deep thought when he received a call from George. "Mr. Brown," he said over the phone, but then he frowned as he heard that he was breathing harshly.

"Officer? Are you okay? Why are you breathing like you've been chased or something?"

He sighed and spoke, "Mr. Brown, you're right. I think they found me. I think they're chasing me right now," Nate stood up from his chair.

"What? Where are you? I'm going to pick you up. Where are you, tell me!"

George sighed. "Don't worry about me, Mr. Brown. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am." Nate listened attentively.

"Why are you saying sorry, Officer? Why?"

"I should have done this earlier. I should have done the right thing, but... I was threatened by Mr. Anderson, and I couldn't risk losing my job. So, I agreed to what he wanted. I'm sorry."
