Sheila's POV*

"There she is. Get her!" One of the men shouted, as I narrowly escaped being knocked down by a moving vehicle.

The rain fell continously upon my barely covered body, as I scampered to safety....anywhere away from El Narco's terrifying men. They've been after me all day and at this rate, they could very well catch me soon. My heart rate was going crazily fast, as I ran desperately. Wheezing sounds from my lungs, filled my ears and my breathing became more labored by the seconds. Oh God! I was going to die out here in the cold if I'm even able to escape the men. I lost my inhaler and here I was, being chased by unknown men, on a cold, rainy night.

I had no doubt that the men were all armed to the teeth and could just gun me down if they wanted to. They must have had specific orders from El Narco himself, to bring me to him alive and unscathed. He's hell bent on making me pay back his money. Money that I didn't even take from him in the first place.

I kept forcing myself to go further, as I seemed to be loosing the men. I tried to stop cars that were passing by, but none of them waited. The few people I met, steered clear off my path, obviously not wanting to get caught up in my drama because I looked like a crazy person. I frantically looked around for any building I could run into, and my eyes finally caught one.

The Wolfe tower; owned by one of the most powerful and wealthiest business tycoon on the planet, André Wolfe. It was a very tall and luxurious looking building, which stood out from the rest. It will no doubt be teeming with top notch security. Hopefully I'll be able to find some form of protection there.

I desperately held onto my chest, as I felt my lungs burn with exhaustion. I've never really ran this much. Never had a reason to...until now. Just a few more blocks and I'll be safe from those monsters... just a few more.

Just as I was heading towards the building, I saw a tall, masculine figure in a coat. He was holding an umbrella over his head and was casually walking out of the Wolfe tower. A black Sedan suddenly parked itself in the direction the man was heading and my eyes widened. Perhaps he can help me!

I quickly charged towards the man with my already failing strength. The full weight of my body collided with his, making him stagger for a second before steadying himself and holding me firmly too. My knees buckles, but he held me up.

"H.h...help...please!" I whispered weakly, feeling my consciousness slip away.

I attempted to look up at the strange man, who just held me without saying a word. I wasn't one to just go jumping into the arms of strangers, but I just kinda felt he would keep me safe.

I couldn't see his face clearly, only deep, blue eyes staring down into my weary soul. My eyelids grew heavy, as the exhaustion and asthma took their toll on me. I was completely at this stranger's mercy now but I couldn't bring myself to mind. It was either him or El Narco.

Darkness suddenly took over me and my body went limp, still in his hold.

I slowly opened my eyes, wincing at the bright light that assaulted my senses. Why the hell was this place so bright? Where exactly is this?

I gently sat myself up on the soft, king-sized bed I was lying on. The duvet fell off my chest to reveal that I was wearing an oversized hoodie. Someone changed me? I frowned in confusion, looking around what appeared to be the most luxurious room I've ever found myself. Everything here from the bed, the carpets, the ceilings and very fancy furnitures were all painted white and reeked of elegance. It made me feel like filthy.

The room had one glass wall, just opposite where I was lying. Beyond the glass wall was a beautiful forest scene, so green and lush. It kinda made me feel lost and relaxed at the same time. I really needed to know where I was.

I looked down at my right hand to find a new inhaler in my grip.

"You shouldn't lose that." A deep, masculine voice suddenly startled me.

I looked towards the direction of the voice, into a familiar set of blue eyes. He was leaning leisurely on a doorframe, holding a type of file in his hand. His eyes slowly rose from the file in his hand, landing on me. A gasp left my lips as the memories started coming back to me. He was the stranger from last night.

He was wearing only a pair of loose pants that hung too loosely on his waist. My eyes shamelessly roamed his bare torso, that resembled the work of a very gifted artist. The man before me was totally shredded. From his abs, to his chest and biceps. His right arm was totally covered in tattoo ink, all the way from his wrist to some part of his neck.

Don't even get me started on his face. He had the most perfect jawlines and cheekbones, nicely trimmed stubbles too. His silky, black hair, looked like he had just come out of the shower. I averted my gaze when I met his deep, ocean blue eyes. He had caught me staring. Something I shouldn't be doing.

I was about to say something when he spoke up again.

"Sheila Dunbar, 24 years old, Honeycomb orphanage. Used to work as a waitress for different nightclubs around town." He read from the file in his hand. My eyes widened as I heard my personal information from this man.

"Now the interesting part... Your boyfriend, Dylan Reeves used to work for El Narco before suddenly running off with a whole lot of cocaine and money."

"Dylan didn't steal anything!" I snapped back at him, not liking his tone of accusation. He simply regarded me with a raised eyebrow.

"Sorry?" He said.

"He was arrested about a month ago for the possession of illegal drugs. The cops must have seized it or something...I didn't even know he sold drugs till then." I argued, desperately hoping he believes me.

"So you weren't involved?" He asked calmly.

"What? No! I've never sold drugs in my life. I didn't even know who El Narco really was, until yesterday." I pleaded.

"Well, El Narco is pretty pissed about his missing drugs and money. Somebody's gotta take the blame." He shrugged nonchalantly.

"What?"

"You heard me. It's either you or him."

"... unless you're somehow involved." He said, squinting his eyes at me. I gulped, not knowing what to say.

"Got any idea where your boyfriend is currently being held?" He asked again, looking right into my eyes. I started having an internal battle within myself on wether to tell him or not.

I was pretty sure that lying wouldn't get me very far with someone like this. It was like he could see through me. I was at his mercy and he could decide to hand me over to El Narco himself.

"Russia. I heard they're holding him in some kinda special facility there." I confessed, looking down at my hands.

Here I was, selling out my boyfriend and love of my life. I shouldn't probably feel guilty because he brought me into this mess in the first place. He had been working for a notorious drug dealer and mafia lord, all these time and he kept it from me. I know he probably thought he was doing me a favor by not wanting me to know. He was trying not to get me involved but here I was now....in the thick of it.

El Narco's money is missing, along with my boyfriend. They'd naturally come after me, since I'm the only family he's got. The both of us only have each other.

"What are you going to do?" I asked with widened eyes. The silence of this man was unnerving. It felt like he had something very.... malicious in mind.

"You're certain he didn't steal El Narco's money?" He asked, making me go silent.

Now that I was thinking of it, I really don't know Dylan as much as I think I do. I mean... He's basically been a drug dealer for over two years without my knowledge. He's never been the type to keep things away from me. I never knew him to be a thief or to be that greedy...but what do I really know. I sighed in defeat.

"That's what I thought." He said.

"You'll be staying here till it's all sorted out. Stepping out will automatically get you caught and we don't want that, right?" He asked, making shake my head wordlessly.

"If you want anything, just push that button beside your bed. The maids will be here to attend to you." He said, turning around to leave.

"Sir!" I called out to him, making him stop without looking back.

"Thank you." I said sincerely.

"André. Call me André." He grunted before walking off.

My eyes widened as my mind pieced the information together. André Wolfe? I remember running into him, right in front of the Wolfe tower. I'm in the home of the infamous André Wolfe??

My eyes suddenly caught sight of someone...like a little child peeking shyly at me from the open door. I could really see the person clearly and I instantly panicked, my fear of being watched kicking in. Who the hell could that be?

We were seated opposite each other with a huge desk separating us."For someone who is allegedly innocent, your boyfriend sure knows how to hide." I suddenly said back to him without thinking. He raised one of his eyebrow at me."So you admit." He said, leaning forward on the desk to look at me. Sheila's POVThe only thing I saw was red, as I marched furiously to where I knew André would be. For the past few days we've been together on an exclusive, private island of his; André's idea of a "honeymoon". We would occasionally pose for pictures from paparazzi and random photographers, just to keep up the "married couple" image. It was exhausting in a way, considering the fact that we both knew better. In my hand was a newspaper with a headline and a whole shitty article about me. Normally, one would be overjoyed to appear on the news or whatever but not when I'm being labelled as a "Billionaire's latest slut". I fastened the robe on my body, in an attempt to give me a little more decency, as I was wearing a ridiculously tiny piece bikini. It was my first time wearing things like these and I've been out swimming and tanning all day.I felt my anger and frustration increase some more, as I ran up a long flight of stairs. Why does every house he own, need to have so much stairs? W

I politely declined, to which he just nodded and moved on.I sighed as I looked around the hall, filled with rich and influential people. I knew I was attending the event as André's wife, but I still couldn't help but feel out of place.I was clad in a black, high slit dress that did little to hide my full cleavages and seemingly increasing curves. Apparently, André has a knack for women in provocative dresses. He wanted to show me off like some trophy, a prize he had just won. No wonder the press keeps referring to me as his latest slut.I was getting bored sitting by myself and watching the men and women around, flirting and exchanging pleasantries. Sheila's POVHow could I not see it earlier? I had been so focused on escaping El Narco, that I walked into an even bigger fire. André Wolfe was that fire and he almost consumed me tonight.I made my way towards my room in this annoyingly, huge mansion. André was with his father in the hospital, so he should be pretty occupied for the whole night. That should give me enough time to pack my few belongings and hightail out of here. I have to get away from all this. I never wanted my life to come with this much drama.Getting into my room, I grabbed a small leather bag and started rummaging through the wardrobe for a few old clothes of mine. I made sure not to take any of the stuffs that André had bought for me. My belongings weren't much, so it was pretty easy fitting all of them into one bag."Sheila?!" • Bride Of The Gun   Regrets

André's POVI angrily stormed into my room, frustrated at the fact that Madeline had to see me like that. It's been over a month since my father's death and I still couldn't get my act together. Heck! I wasn't even around to attend my own father's funeral.I had been working overtime for these past days, spending more nights out and coming back home mostly drunk. I knew my daughter was concerned about me but I couldn't find it in me to face her. She had been spending more time with Sheila and they seem to be getting even closer. Maybe I should find comfort in that fact.I took off my suit, after pulling off my shoes. Standing in front of my mirror, I winced when I saw the battered state of my face. I had quite a number of cuts and bruises from the fight at the club, earlier tonight. I was always getting into one fight or the other these days too.A gentle knock sounded on my door, making me turn my head towards that direction instantly. I already knew who it was. "Come in." I mumbled

Sheila's POVIt's been less than ten minutes since she arrived and I was already so irked by the sound of her obnoxious laughter. I glared down at my food, stabbing my piece of chicken aggressively with a fork.We were currently eating together in the large dining hall, myself, André and this annoying, blond bitch. She never stopped laughing at every little thing André said, as they sat way too close to each other. It annoyed me that I was even bothered about their proximity in the first place. André has the right to flirt with any lady he wants, however he wants and wherever he wants. It not like he owes me any exclusivity."Honey, could you please pass me some of those sausages?" The blonde woman said to me with a saccharine smile. She looked so perfect, like a supermodel or something. Deep, blue eyes the same shade as André's. I failed to see why she wouldn't make the perfect partner for him. "Thanks, hun!" She said, as I passed her the said sausages, albeit begrudgingly.I looked

What was she doing here?I was fully awake now but for some reason, I decided to keep my eyes closed, to know what kind of mischief these two were up to."Aunt Harley, you're going to wake her!" I heard Madeline groan out in frustration."She's been asleep since yesterday, Maddy."She needs sleep!" "Ugh, fine! Just one more picture." Harley said, making my eyelids fly open instantly. André's POVI bounced my knees nervously, as I sat beside Sheila on the backseat of my limousine. We had cut short our little vacation on Isla Dorado, leaving Madeline and Marco there and returning back to Vegas on such short notice. Sheila insisted that she follow me back to make sure I don't "lose it"."It can't be that bad, right?" She asked, trying to comfort me by rubbing my back soothingly."I hope so." I replied, grabbing her other free hand and pressing it onto my cheeks with both hands. Somehow, holding her like this always seemed to calm my wracking nerves. It was nighttime and the streets of Vegas weren't really as lively. It was almost like everyone had gotten into hiding or something."We're here, boss." Hugo called out to me, as he parked out in front of a familiar, now wrecked building. I looked out of the window, frowning at the little crowd that had gathered there.Sirens of ambulances and the police cars were busy wailing noisily at the scene. Apparently, there had b

Sheila's POV:La Isla Dorado was even more beautiful than the last time I was here, which was for I and Andre's honeymoon. The flowers and trees were much more greener and vibrant in colour, making the whole place have a rather surreal appearance.I sighed in contentment, looking down at the beautiful scenery before me and stretching seductively. I was clad in nothing but a tiny bikini set, that left nothing much to the imagination, André's imagination obviously. We had been having hot, passionate sex up here in his penthouse, ever since we arrived on the island. He suddenly came up from behind me, burying his face in the sensitive spots of neck and fondling my breast sensually. I giggled softly at his horny acts, feeling his erection poke up against my ass."We just had sex, André." I said, not able to hold back my moans."Mmm...is that so?" We were headed for La Isla Dorado, Andre's private island resort.Ever since the incident at Italy, André had been quite sulky and it was beginning to get on my nerves. He would mumble incoherently to himself, stopping when I come close to him. Anytime I try to initiate physical contact with him, he would withdraw himself, even going as far as avoiding eye contact with me. André had been pushing me behind himself the whole time."Then you must know we mean serious business." One of the men answered. He had white beards and hair, looking like the oldest and the leader of the group. They all had their guns aimed at us. All of them apart from white haired man, who was speaking."Whatever she paid you, I can pay more." André said, making all of them crack up with laughter."Oh is that your way of begging for your life? I chuckled at her, making Marco look towards my direction with a pout on his face."You find this funny too?" He asked, making me laugh even more, as I rested by the edge of the swimming pool.Marco was shirtless but unlike his brother, he had no inking on his body.
