"Walk straight. Lift your head. Lift your chin. You belong to Lycan Xandros, you can't walk like a slave."
It was the third day and yet Anna had not seen the man she belonged to. It seemed to be like he had forgotten about her but yet Diane was doing everything to make her look and act like the former Luna, Athena. With an heavy makeup that changed her from an omega to one high-class lady in the wolf world, she was now being trained on how to act like a queen. Would she be the Luna? She didn't know. But what she did know was that she had to look exactly like Athena for Xandros's anger to be poured on her. How much would Diane have to do before she could be enough? "Are you sleeping?" The hit of the fan snapped her back to reality and she immediately arched her back, standing straight. The plate on her shoulders tumbled and then fell to the ground. Three consecutive hits on her back and her teeth clenched tightly to stop the hissing that would have escaped from her lips. "This is the hundredth plate you are breaking in just two days!" Diane shot, anger evident on her face as she placed opened a new carton of ceramics plates. "Can I...can I have a glass of water? I'm drained." Anna muttered and Diane glanced at the time. It was about 6pm. She gently fixed the plates back into the carton an glanced at her, "Take a break. We'll continue tomorrow." Picking her fan, she stretched her hand into her pocket and brought out a rubber of balm, stretching it towards Anna. "It'll help with the whips mark." She said in a whisper and walked out of the place, leaving Anna right there. Anna released an heavy breath as her hand wrapped tightly around the balm, she really needed it. Few hours later into the dark, she stood straight in front of the mirror, staring at the red marks the fan whip had formed. She released a low sigh as she applied the balm on it, the injury stinging her so much that her eyes watered. She had barely sat down on her seat again when the door suddenly opened and Diane walked in with three other ladies accompanying her. "Lycan Xandros is coming back this night. You need to get ready." She said with urgency in her voice and Anna blinked. She didn't think he was out of Khaos. "Get up, Anna!" Diane snapped when she got lost in her thoughts for a moment and immediately she got to her feet as they led her into the bathroom. *** Her legs hurt from standing too long and she was pretty sure everyone's legs did too. Ever since they heard that Xandros got into the city, they'd been on their toes, waiting for his arrival. She and all other living souls in the house had been lined up straight at the door. Her knees buckled under her and she almost fell when Diane held her arm tight, pulling her up. The woman glared at her and she twitched her toes standing straight. The loud roar of the car awakened those who had slept off while standing and everyone became alert even before the car's engine stopped. His footsteps echoed through the silence like a ominous drumbeat, heavy and deliberate, as he moved with a slow, measured pace. With each step, the air seemed to vibrate with his presence, as if the darkness itself had taken on a life of its own. Anna's palms became clammy, her eyes blinking thrice unnecessarily in just a second. She had seen him before. In Abaddon, where he had come to buy her right after killing someone. They had gone to check later on, and they saw how mutilated the man's body was before he died. They hadn't heard him scream. Not once and even at that, only Xandros had been there with the man and only Xandros had hurt him that way. The darkness appeared in front of them and Anna willed her legs to stay in the same position, not until he ordered her to turn. But she didn't look up at him. Her eyes focused on his shoes and then switched to the blood that dropped on the floor and then to his hands where his bloody gun was being held loosely. He seemed to know that here, no one could dare to attack him. "Welcome back." Diane's voice broke the silence and without a reply, his movement continued with a slow deliberate pace. She could feel his eyes on her skin as he suddenly stopped right in front of her. The cold barrel of the gun slightly brushed past her chin and a shiver ran down her spine. He touched her chin again with the gun and she realized he was asking her to raise her head up. Once she did, Anna couldn't help but notice how dark he looked at her. Filled with hatred. In all of her years of being an omega and an hated slave, no one had ever looked at her with so much anger and despise. He walked away as deliberately as he had come, still without a word but the cold touch of his gun lingered on her chin and when she raised her hand to touch it, blood. "Follow me." Diane said with a sharp voice and walked away immediately, towards the stairs. Anna followed as they went up, stairs after stairs, till they got to the third floor. "He uses the elevator." Diane voiced out the answer to the question in Anna's mind but the girl wished she had not, because answering only means one thing, they were going to his room. With a card Diane fished out of her pocket, the door to his place went open and Anna took a deep breath. His scent was all over the place. The smell of earth mixed with tobacco, musky, like a forest after rain. "Leave us." He said with an husky, rugged voice that sounded like whiskey. A deep rumble resounded at the base. Anna's eyes followed Diane as she moved out. Right now, Diane was the only thing she could see. And when Diane left, the door closing behind her. All lights did too and she realized how dark the place was. She heard footsteps come down. He was walking down a staircase, judging from the way he moved. "What's your name?" He asked. She knew he could see her. Lycans were known for their sight and that gave them an edge over others. And then again, he was Xandros. He was the darkness. "Athena." She muttered. "Your real name." He counterattacked. She gulped, "Anna." "Anna."Her heart raced fast in her chest when she felt him stop in front of her, his scent filling her senses. She couldn't breath normally with him so close to her."Could you die?" He suddenly asked and her eyes went up in a jiffy. He didn't bring her here to kill her, did he? Even if he didn't want her, he could keep her for the sake of his money."Wh-what?" She stuttered, her voice breaking."You are mine, Anna. If I asked you to die, would you die?" He asked and slowly, the cold metal of the gun traced her chin again and he tapped twice. She raised her head to the darkness, only his blue eyes proved as light and it was so so dark in it. The cold barrel made its way to her lips and he pushed it in slowly, making her hold it between her lips."Can I pull the trigger?" He asked and let out a cold chuckle, that sounded more animalistic than humanly. She couldn't even speak and if she did speak, what assurance was there that he would listen to her? It was a zero percent failure and she coul
She left his room, her legs trembling lightly as she forced herself to go down the stairs and to her room, banging the door beside it. A shrillness went down her spine, making her vibrate as the air shot down her skin from the window. She immediately walked to the windows and shut them, rubbing her hands against her arms. She sat down on the bed, her legs tapping on the floor restlessly, "Anna." She breathed out her name, her eyes blinking rapidly. "You'd be fine. You would totally be fine if you act okay." She muttered, a sigh escaping from her lips. Cold air making her shiver surrounded her skin. That night, Anna couldn't a get a lot of sleep and the darkness filled the penthouse. It was so silent. So secretive. Even the crickets of the night hadn't made a single noise at all. And she knew it was all because of him....the darkness....Xandros.Tomorrow felt like it would be a long long day.The morning came rapidly, the sun Io against the sky, leaving a glow on the house. Anna watched herself as a robot in the mirror when she stared at the image. She was just...this way. Her face had been dolled up, making her look extremely beautiful and appeasing to the eyes but inside her, she felt like shit. Her steps were almost quiet as she stepped up the stairs, holding her long gown. It was long but still useless. The transparency was out of this world. At a single look, you could see everything she wore underneath. But she was grateful. At least, she had an underwear to cover up her nakedness in front of Xandros. At least, for now. Xandros stared at her, "What took you so long?" He asked, his voice low, but menacing. A feverish feeling went down her spine as she felt a bitter bile in her throat."I....." She trailed off, having no reply to his question. Her heart was beating fast against her ribcage as his eyes stayed on her face. It didn't even got down. She had thought he was meant to be seduced."Answer me, Anna." He answered in a bored tone, but his eyes
Xandros's hand laid on her laps, pushing her back into her seat as she made to get up. His eyes darkened, anger coursing through his veins as he glared at her, "Sit. Still." Anna's body shook as she turned her head to see the man with the lustful eyes on the floor, a bullet hole right through his head. The other men just stared....just stared. She had hated him for looking at her like that but that didn't mean Xandros had to kill him! Why were they quiet? The fuck! Why were they quiet? She turned to look back at Xandros, her mouth ready to spew the words that ran through her mind but her eyes met with Gaia's and he just stared at her, a calm look on his face. "He would have gotten y'all killed in the nearest future. Don't you agree?" The three other men exchanged glances and the first one looked back at Xandros, "Thank goodness he was killed early." He said, with a small smile. Anna gasped in shock. Was he scared? Or was this how betrayal simply smelled like? Like blood? Xan
"I don't....think so." She muttered. He cocked his head and she could see a flash of something in his eyes. He hadn't expected those words to leave her lips. Xandros pulled backwards, releasing a small sigh. He glanced at her phone and gave it back to her. Sandra: You would be happy to see me right? I can't imagine how lonely you are in Khaos. Anna's felt her blood turn icy. She would be so evil to let a pure soul like Sandra come to Khaos. "Sandra is an interesting fellow." Xandros said and immediately her head snapped towards him, the cold blood redirecting to her head. "No..." She shook her head. Xandros raised his brow. "Not her, please. She's little and innocent." She muttered. "Little? Didn't she strip that night?" Xandros smirked. "Were you about to lie to me, little wolf? I know you and Sandra are the same age." He said. Anna bit her inner lip tightly, he'd caught on really fast. What was she to do? "Please... please, stop her from coming here." She plea
Anna bit her lips tight, her stomach contracted as she tried hard to hold her breath. She heard footsteps and she blinked, panic quickly taking over her body. Diane spoke to her through her eyes and Anna nodded, understanding that she was meant to be calm. The footsteps stopped right before where they stood and Anna's eyes watered. Diane's tightened her hold on her lips and Anna whimpered. The owner of the footsteps walked closer and her heartbeat stopped when she saw his face. Gaia. Kieran's beta. He also seemed to be shocked as he saw the both of them. "We didn't see anyone." Another man who they didn't see reported to him. "No one is here either. Go back and look around." Gaia commanded. "Yes sir." They heard his footsteps retreat. "I don't know what that girl is doing outside but you better get her in. I won't do this next time." He said and locked his eyes with Anna for a split second before he walked away. "What are you doing out here?!" Diane didn't waste time
The door banged close behind, shutting the light from outside. Though it was still morning, there was only a single ray of sunlight getting into the living room. All the glasses were covered shut with the curtains that it partially looked ghostly. Anna took her steps carefully, knowing she was not all that good with the darkness but unfortunately, she didn't and wouldn't turn on the lights.Xandros was no where to be found down here. She heard a movement upstairs and curiosity took the better part of her, sending her legs up to the stairs. The stairs gave way to a large space upstairs, his room. The lights shone brightly here, it looked totally heavenly. Green and grey, the beauty of the forest was shown best inside Xandros's room. She hadn't know he would love the color green, seeing how gray and black his living room was.At the end of the room, a dark glass door was open and Anna pressed her lips against each other, fighting the urge to go there. "Your new name is Athena."***"Go out there, like the good girls you are and dance. Well enough, to please the watchers. There are only two choices for you, dance well and get sold or be killed." They weren't empty threats. They had been trained, well fed and made beautiful over the past few months, so any girl who didn't fetch enough money for them would simply be discarded."If we are get lucky enough, we'll be chosen." Sandra said beside Anna said and Anna sighed.Lucky?Would being sold be called luck? In their world, yes."File out. Take your position at the poles." Candy fired another order at them and stopped in front of Anna, a grin on her face."You are one of the best, Anna, even though you are nothing but just an omega. I hope you get chosen though. Best of luck." She said."Thank you." Anna breathed out in nothing more than a whisper as she joined the queue, being the last on the line. She took a deep breath, the color of the club lights almost blinding, by the contrast t

She managed to ask."I'm sorry, but Lycan Xandros is looking for something that can contain his bottled anger and I believe you are that tool who can help." "And in the process I'll be damaged," Anna couldn't help but say that."I care a lot less about what happens to you, because you have been bought. You are his property now, so focus on obeying his commands. I'll be back at morning time, so get lots of rest. It'll be helpful." Diane got out of the room, closing the door behind her. They didn't even lock the door, knowing that she couldn't make an attempt to escape. Anna walked to the window, her face pale, her eyes glassy as she stared across the wide span of land and the men who patrolled round it. CCTVs were everywhere and it would be a stupid action to do anything that could put her in trouble. She put her hand inside the black robe she had been given and fished out her phone, turning it on. They had a rule of
