Chapter Sixty Nine

Interrogation:

“Arkyn!” Kristen choked out the words as her throat burned, it felt like she had just drank hot lava, her throat felt like it was peeling each time she tried to talk.

Her wolf was completely subdued. She couldn't even feel her the longer the silver sat against her skin. She tried calling forward her witch powers but she felt like there was a wall between her and powers the more she tried to call upon them her skin seemed to burn. She tried to remember spells but each time she tried to verbalize them it felt like the skin was peeling off the inside of her throat. Njar walked in and the smell hit her. She right away recognized the smell of wolfsbane. They thought it was her wolf they had to worry about. She needed to find a way for whatever liquid Arkyn poured on the chains and she ingested to wear off.
