Dark Moon: She felt herself being lifted. She groaned a little confused at why something was wrapped around her. She felt a warmth radiating from the thing wrapped around her. It felt good against her skin. She went to curl into it. The feeling and warmth reminded her of Arkyn. She missed him so much. She went to nuzzle into the warmth thinking of Arkyn but then the scent hit her. It was wrong, it wasn’t Arkyn’s. She was so tired she had to fight to open her eyes. Jonah was holding her, cradling her to his chest, her legs drooped over one side of his arms and her head resting on his chest. “Shh go back to sleep, it's ok. Where in my pack, you're safe.” Jonah said quietly to her. Alice frowned trying to open her eyes to see where exactly they were. She shifted in his arms, it felt wrong being held by anyone but Arkyn. Lenore was growling inside of her. ‘Hey quit struggling. You're ok.” Jonah whispered to her, she felt the change in temperature as they entered somewhere.
Didn’t Lie: “You can take the truck.” Eliza said as she walked around Arkyn heading towards the door.Arkyn looked to Garold who attempted to shrug but winced. He turned and began to follow Eliza out the door. Arkyn grumbled softly to himself as he followed them. Eliza went down the hall and took a sharp right into a garage. She flipped on the light and reached for a set of keys. She held them out to Arkyn. Aryn took them, his eyes going to the very large over the top truck.“It was James. Feel free to leave it in a field broken down; when you're done.” Eliza smiled.“Thats..thats -“Over the top. Yeah. He was extra in everything he did.” Eliza said, shaking her head.“Shotgun!” Garold yelled as he walked over to it.“Your the only one coming with me, dumbass.” Arkyn grumbled again, shaking his head. He cout help but crack a smile as he watched Garold try to get into the lifted truck with one arm.“I might need a boost.”Garold laughed, making a silly face.“Get in the damn truck.” A
Surprise: “Alpha.” A panic mindlink flashed through Arkyn’s min, He almost didn't recognized Skarde’s voice.“What?” Arkyn sent back quickly, his hands tightening around the steering wheel as he waited for the response. “Dark moon is here at our gates….They have Alice. There is something wrong with her. Her heart beat is steady from what I can hear but she’s not awake.” Skarde sent back.Arkyn slammed on the brakes, the truck screeching to a halt. The van following behind them had to swerve to miss them. Garold slammed into the dashboard. Groaning, he looked at Arkyn angry. Seeing his eyes gloss over he became concerned. “She is limp in his arms.” Skarde added, his voice cracking from anger.“What does Jonah want?” Arkyn sent back quickly, his body shaking as he squeezed the steering wheel.“He wants us to surrender or he'll kill Alice. He wants the remaining warriors to be placed in holding cells and to show him to your chambers.” Skarde growled. “Ahhh!” Arkyn yelled out loud as
Story Time: “Ughhh” Alice groaned, twisting into herself, her hands curling around her stomach as it gurgled. Everything was foggy, her head was hurting so bad. Everything felt like jello, her legs, her arms, everything was weak. Where she was, she let out a small sigh and inhaled trying to calm her racing mind and breath through the pain. As she inhaled she smelt something warm, something that made her feel instantly safe. Her fingers curled into the sheets.“Arkyn?” Alice called out as she sat up, the world swirled around, her eyes trying to focus. She was seeing sillots, she was searching for him. He was sitting just at her feet. Her heart started pounding everything in her needed him. She needed the safety of his arms. Needed to know she was ok. She moved towards him quickly, her arms wrapping around him as she buried her face into his neck.“Arkyn.” She whispered as she nuzzled him.Cedar, Arkyn did not smell like cedar. There were no tingles or chills when she touched him.
Jailbreak: The cold wind blowing from the window sent chills running through her. Alice stood at the window, fidgeting with her fingers. She had jumped out the window before. It was more adrenaline than anything. She took a deep breath and pulled open the window. She looked down at the snow on the ground. It was just like before, she would have perfect padding she told herself. The only thing different is if she didn't do this it wasn't just her life she was trying to save but the whole pack. “Jump!” Lenore shouted in their mind. Alice took a deep breath and jumped. The wind rushing up at her made her inhale deeper. She squeezed her eyes shut as the white snow came rushing towards her. Alice relies on Lenore and her quick reflection. Lenore took over just enough not causing a shift but Alice landed neatly in the snow pile. Her Knee pressed into the snow, her hand bracing herself as her jet black hair floated down around. The snow scraping against her skin felt like tiny knives. Al
Almost: “So just how did you escape?” Njar smirked as they reached the door to the dungeon. “Jumped.” Alice said a small smirk on her face as she pushed the doors opened and walked out into the cold air. “You were a bird or monkey in another life.” Njar laughed. “No …maybe a cat. Nine lives in all. Just remember to say thank you when i’m all done saving your butts.” Alice laughed as they began moving silently through the darkness heading to the hall. The hall was in sight, they were almost there. They were almost all free and ready to take back their pack. Alice paused just in front of the hall, something was off. Her eyes fixated on a large stage placed in front of the hall and a large stake in the middle of it. She tilted her head, her brain trying to understand exactly what she was looking at and when did it get there. “Surrender.” Jonah’s voice said from behind the group. They all turned and Jonah’s army slowly surrounded them. That was fine, they could fight and take th
SOS:“Alpha, the pack is locked in the hall. Jonah is threatening to burn it down. We are outside just in front of the hall.” Njar rapidly sent through mindlink.“Pour mountain Ash on them, The mindlinking needs to stop.” Jonah said as he walked down the stairs from the stage. “There’s a pack helping Jonah -'' Njar was cut off as mountain ash was dumped on him, he flinched in pain, his eyes flicking to Alice regret in them.“Dark..Forest.” Skarde sent his voice weak even in mindlink, he heard the order of mountain ash and did not know if Arkyn would get the message. He needed to try. Skarde was covered with mountain ash, he crashed further into the snow covered. The men walked around sprinkling the dust on everyone to ensure no one would be able to communicate with Arkyn. The man walked towards Alice who was dosing out the mountain ash.“Never mind her, she is packless. She might as well be a rogue.” Jonah chuckled. The words stung, reminding her that she had wished that she had ac
Stand off:Norris paced the woods just outside Black Mountain. He was waiting for the signal or for Arkyn to arrive. He had been waiting for this moment. He really wished it had been his father. Not much was said about how he died. He hoped he suffered. Died slowly, painfully. Alone. Norris ran his hair through his short sandy color hair. His dark green eyes studying the entrance. Years of living in the Dark Forest made his eyes accustomed to the dark, he could see for miles. The weather was not bothering him either. No sunshine meant the forest did not get warm. He clenched his jaw waiting. “Alpha, any sign yet?” Curt said walking up to his side, his dark brown eyes scanning the entrance as he tossed his braid behind him. “No but there was a jailbreak for a second. I sent word to Jonah that the raven hair girl jumped out the window and broke Arkyn’s men out of jail.” Norris smiled a little. “A girl?” Curt asked his eyes scanning for a child.“No Arkyn’s woman, his mate. She’s eit
