Chapter Forty Four

The Bratva Capos sprung into action surrounding the couple and forcing the paparazzi back so they could climb into the waiting limousine. Lissa expected to go back to the hotel to debrief with Mishka but Luca was having none of it.

He told Nikita and the Second shot out into the traffic whisking them there quickly and efficiently. Lissa wasn’t given the time to protest Luca practically dragged her on board and ordered the pilot to leave as soon as they were seated.

She was furious, he had taken her from the hearing put them on the plane, and returned to the compound. He had not asked her what she wanted to do, he had not even told Mishka, they had just left because it was what he wanted.
