Chapter 18:

Leia POV:

Pythia sat back down next to me and cleared her throat. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. "I don't know if I can find the words to say." I replied, looking at her. "I'm going to look through all of the books I have. If I can find a way to fix this I will." Pythia said. I could see the guilt on her face. "You have been so helpful. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done and I don't blame any of you for this at all." I replied. The last thing that I wanted was for her or any of them to feel guilty about what happened, I knew they didn't do it on purpose. "I know you don't but still, I can't imagine what you are going to have to go through." Pythia said. "Una told me to have faith. Maybe you will find something but I won't get my hopes up for it just in case." I replied. I knew better than to get my hopes up for something that may not happen. "I promise I'll exhaust everything I have, but tell me what I can do right now to help." Pythia said. "I would like to rest honestly." I replied. "Alright, I'll take you to a room I had set up for you." Pythia said standing at her feet. She pushed me out of the room and back down the hallway until we entered a room that surprised me.

There was a big king sized bed with a canopy cover, a really fluffy looking comforter, a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall and black out curtains. She pushed me to the edge of the bed before she started pulling the blankets down and rearranging the pillows. "Alright, let's get you in." Pythia said, wrapping her arm around my back. I sat on the edge of the bed and sank in. "Wow this is comfortable." I said feeling the mattress. "I just bought all of this stuff. You need to be as comfortable as possible the next few days." Pythia replied. I was stunned, she bought all of this for me? "I might sleep in here with you though." Pythia added laughing. "Well the bed is big enough, I wouldn't mind." I said with a smile. She wasn't near as bad as I had heard, that just goes to show that you can't always believe every rumor you hear about someone, given the chance they are probably the opposite of what you hear. "Are you hungry or anything?" Pythia asked. ''A little, I can wait till morning though." I replied. Pythia shook her head and fluffed the pillows behind me before sitting me up. "Here is the remote, I'll be right back." Pythia said before she disappeared.  I didn't even get to turn the TV on before she came back with a food platter and some water. "Girls night in." Pythia said, smiling as she climbed over me. She placed the food platter in between us and opened the water for me which I gladly took.

My throat felt like it was on fire, but the coldness of the water helped. "So what are we going to watch?" Pythia asked. "How do you feel about superhero movies? I haven't seen the new avengers movie." I replied. "I wouldn't miss a chance to see that captain America guy in those tights." Pythia said, wiggling her eyebrows, making me laugh. "The avengers it is then. Thank you for all of this. I'll make it up to you somehow." I replied. "Look, when you get all better you can be my little ward of sorts, I can teach you all about the herbs and stuff and you can help me heal people or something. I heard you are an amazing warrior so maybe you could teach us a thing or to about defending ourselves." Pythia replied. "Well I can do that, Alley was the strongest female warrior but we could never out match each other." I said. "Perfect, I teach you and you teach us. Fair trade." Pythia replied. "That is a deal." I said as the theme song to the movie started playing. I leaned back a little more getting myself situated, I could always think of everything tomorrow but for now I'll just enjoy the movie with my new friend and forget my worries. the weight of the world and my thoughts are going to be heavy but not tonight. Tonight I will let it marinate and deal with it tomorrow.
