Leia POV:Pythia sat back down next to me and cleared her throat. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked. "I don't know if I can find the words to say." I replied, looking at her. "I'm going to look through all of the books I have. If I can find a way to fix this I will." Pythia said. I could see the guilt on her face. "You have been so helpful. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done and I don't blame any of you for this at all." I replied. The last thing that I wanted was for her or any of them to feel guilty about what happened, I knew they didn't do it on purpose. "I know you don't but still, I can't imagine what you are going to have to go through." Pythia said. "Una told me to have faith. Maybe you will find something but I won't get my hopes up for it just in case." I replied. I knew better than to get my hopes up for something that may not happen. "I promise I'll exhaust everything I have,
Leia POV: I woke up this morning feeling a little more energized than I did yesterday. The weight of everything was still on me but there was nothing I could do about it. Last night's memories came flooding back in and I looked over at Pythia and smiled. She was really good at making me laugh. I sat up and leaned against the headboard and took a deep breath. I really wanted to shower and brush my teeth. I couldn't even remember how long it has been. "Why are you awake." Pythia asked, looking at me. "Well the sun is up and I want to take a shower, brush my teeth you know, not smell like a rotting corpse." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "Alright, well let's get you clean so you smell better." Pythia laughed while getting up. "Don't move." Pythia added before she walked into the bathroom. I heard the water turn on and another door opening. "I got you some big dresses because you can't wear pants or
Leia POV:It has been a rough few days, Lillith had helped me get my strength back but it was a damn task. Pythia had been in and out helping Alley and I wanted to see her before I left. I just had to talk to her, to thank her for all she had done. I knew the fight with Bosch was going to be happening soon and my family wanted to be away from it all but I wanted to help so Pythia and Lillith have been teaching me how to make these cool little bags. Some of them can freeze people or turn them to stone and others are like mini bombs or flash bangs. It was interesting to see how these little herbs could really do a lot of damage and I had no idea. "What would you like to do today?" Lillith asked. "I want to try to run a little bit." I replied with a little determination in my voice. I wanted to start trying to work out anyway that I could, Brad had me doing sit ups and brought me
Leia POV:Today was the day I would get to see Alley. Pythia has been telling me what all has been going on and as much as I wanted to spend a good portion of the day with her I knew I couldn't and we had to leave. No one really knew when Bosch was going to try to attack but they knew it would be soon. "Do you want me to walk with you?" Brad asked. "No, go with mom and dad. I'll see you guys soon." I replied as I packed the rest of my stuff. Pythia was making me take all the things she bought for me already even though I insisted it stay in case someone else needs it. I sat on the bed and looked around and let my mind wander back to when I finally agreed to see my parents...**FLASHBACK**I was pac
Brandon POV: We were tasked with building shelters for everyone for when the fight happens but Alex and I needed to go see the twins to make sure everyones training is going the way it should. I noticed Alex was always a little quieter when we got around them but I never thought to ask why. "What is on your mind man? You're always quiet when we come here." I said pulling him out of his own thoughts. "I don't know, I just feel weird around them, not in a bad way though. There is just something there that I can't figure out." Alex replied, shaking his head. "Could one of them be your mate?" I asked. I knew Alex was gay, I think I'm the only one who knew the real side of him. But I also knew he didn't really like talking about it and I had hoped that one day it would and he can live his life the way he wanted to. "I don't think so. I think my wolf would know right?" Alex asked. "I would think so but we are learning new things. Just try to let yourself feel whatever it is." I whispere
Leia POV:It has been a solid week since the battle happened, I haven't heard or seen Pythia or well anyone sense then and I had been going out of my mind worrying about everyone, I mean did anyone die? Is anyone hurt? We all know the chances we take when we get in to fights like that but this was just torture. "You are going to create your own path if you don't stop pacing." Una said. I stopped and looked around. I had been walking around this little pond everyday. "It helps for now." I replied. I heard her huff but she didn't say anything else. "You need to come eat." Brad said, walking up to me. "I'm not really that hungry." I replied. "You say that every time and then eat like a pig at dinner time." Brad said flatly. I rolled my eyes but he had a point. "I'll be in soon." I replied. "You know they are fine right? Probably just doing some recovery or something
Brandon POV:We have been cleaning up after the fight happened, a lot of people were still recovering and Alley was being incredibly stubborn about not healing herself. I get that she wants to do it normally like we all do but she was hurt pretty badly and could use a boost. I walked into the house and looked over to see Stephen was half asleep leaning against the counter with a cup of coffee. "Hey man, you are about to drop that." I said loudly waking him back up. "Shit.. it's just been a long few days man." Stephen replied, shaking his head. "You look like shit dude. Go get some sleep or something." I said taking his cup from him. "I have to change Alleys bandages." Stephen replied, rubbing his eyes. "I can do that, you really need some sleep. The pack can't function if you are both down." I said, stopping him. "Alright, just be easy, don't let your eyes wander or I swear I
Brad POV:The days always seem so long to me, watching after Leia is like a full time job. Even when she says she is okay I know she really isn't. You don't go through something like that and be completely fine. She spent a lot of time either running, training or sitting on the dock and I always wondered what she was thinking. The nights were longer, I barely slept. I'm not sure if she remembers what happened because she doesn't say anything at all and she doesn't wake up. Every night she screams and thrashes around in her bed, my dad and I always run in to hold her down until she stops while my mom cleans the sweat off her face but then the next day she doesn't say anything and we don't want to upset her so we just don't say anything. Lately she had been worried about our packs and what happened, I know Pythia said she would come back and I knew she would but with each day that she doesn
Leia POV: As we stood still waiting for alpha Scott to really begin I could still see the confusion on some of their faces. This was something that was kept a secret for the most part and now they are all about to find out what really happened. "As we wait for them to be brought out I would like to explain why the Blackwood pack along with the covens are doing here." He said finally speaking. "Leia was once part of this pack until she was not only captured by Bosch but was under what we know as the forbidden magic. To better explain I would like to invite Pythia up." Scott nodded towards her. I could feel my heart racing, there were details that I did not want anyone to know and I knew that Pythia wouldn't bring them up. "Hello everyone, when it comes to the forbidden magic there is a difference, you see we are dark witches are able to use dark magic on a lot of things but the forbidden magic is by far the worst. It has the potential to morph us into different creatures essentiall
Leia POV: I woke up this morning not really sure how I was feeling about what today's events would unfold. We were all curious about how they would react to it. While I washed my hair my mind drifted back to the conversation that took place when we all were sitting around the porch.. **FLASHBACK** I sat on the swing while Ambrosia, Brandon and Jackson followed suit. "So how are you really feeling?" Ambrosia asked. I sat back against the swing and pulled my legs up. "Honestly, I have no idea. I thought maybe I would feel a little better being the one that decides what is going to happen but then I started thinking about how they are going to react, will they try to play on our tempers? Or would they accept it and not cause anymore problems." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. I was leaning more towards them playing on our tempers. "None of us know what is going to happen, I mean when we all grew up we didn't see this side of them." Jackson said and I nodded my head. The
Leia POV: Last night's events were probably the best we have had, we sat around the coffee table watching movies, playing a card game and having a few drinks. For once the stress of everything wasn't weighing on our shoulders. The bones had been sent to Collins territory for further examination but this morning they had called us over to Alley and Stephens to hear the result. "Are you ready?" Brandon asked, standing in the doorway. "Do you really think it's him?" I asked. "I don't know honestly, I think we will be disappointed either way this goes, you'll never have your justice or we found someone else and he is still on the loose." Brandon replied. Even if he did die somehow that is justice within itself and something I will just have to be okay with at some point. "As long as he is out of our lives and can't hurt anyone else then I can make peace with it you know." I said. "I know you will, I guess I just wanted you to have the justice that you deserved." Brandon replied. I cou
Brandon POV: I was beginning to get really frustrated. We had been out here for weeks looking for him and still haven't found anything of his at all. Alley has been popping in and out to bring us food and home to spend what time we can with our mates and for those that have children so no one feels like they have to miss out on anything. We were all growing more and more frustrated each day. One day the scent is hot the next day it's like it doesn't exist at all which sends us in different directions. "What are you thinking about over there?" Alex asked, pulling me out of my thoughts. "I didn't think this would take so damn long, why is his scent all over the place the way that it is, you know. It just doesn't make any sense." I replied, shaking my head. "Well, think about it, when we move around a lot our scent travels to different areas so maybe that is what he did to try to throw us off or something." Alex said and I shook my head. "No, there is something more to it that we are
Leia POV: When Brandon left the room Pythia came over to lay on the bed with me. "So tell me how you are really feeling." Pythia said, grabbing a piece of fruit. "I just feel tired and sore mainly." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "I never really recovered from training with Ambrosia before the rest happened so I think it's really starting to weigh on me." I added and she smiled. "How is your training with her going? Does anyone else know about it?" Pythia asked. "It's been going good. She hasn't taken it easy on me at all, which I like, but I also taunt her when I feel like she is holding back and she scolds me when I am. She also likes to keep me on my toes, you know last time she left me a note." I laughed and I heard Pythia giggle. "She is always like that. She is one tough lady not many would dare to train with." Pythia replied. "I can see why, she is a little intense but in a good way. No one else knows though, I don't want anyone thinking I am getting some sort of specia
Brandon POV: I didn't know how long I had been asleep but when I opened my eyes Leia was still sleeping. I reached over and grabbed my phone off the night stand to see it hasn't even been an hour. I sighed and looked back down at her, I gently picked up her arms and un-did one of the bandages and noticed that it stopped bleeding and looked like it was starting to heal up slowly. I heard a knock on the door and looked up to see that Pythia had stuck her head through. "Is she still sleeping?" Pythia whispered and I nodded my head. She pushed the door open a little further and walked in with some snacks. "I didn't think you would want to leave her so I brought you some food and drinks." Pythia said with a smile. "Thank you, you didn't have to." I whispered. "Hush, you need to eat and I'm sure she will be waking soon and she will be hungry." Pythia said, giving me a stern look and I had to keep myself from laughing. I knew she wasn't one to tango with but there were different sides to
Leia POV: I was trying my best to keep my breathing under control but I started to feel like I was burning from the inside out. "Just relax the best you can." Pythia said, looking down at me. "I need some cold water and rags now!" Pythia yelled out before she looked back down at me. "How are you feeling?" She asked. "Like I'm on fire. I can feel it moving in my veins." I replied. I heard the door open and I looked over to see a young girl bringing in a bowl. "Any update on dumbass yet?" I asked as Pythia took the bowl and rag and sat down next to me, "As far as I heard, your mother has a nice little temper." Pythia replied with a smile. I closed my eyes for a second. She did have a bad temper, probably the worst out of all of us but she kept it inside and controlled most of the time. "What did she do?" I asked, I mean nothing really surprised me when it came to her. "Well, let's just say she has some sharp claws." Pythia replied and I groaned. "A man hunt is about to take place, t
Leia POV: I hardly slept at all last night, my bite wound was not healing like it should and Una has been rather quiet and hasn't said much. So for safety measure Brandon is taking me to Julie and I'm sure she is going to rip my ass up again. "How much pain are you in?" Brandon asked. "I don't want to walk, too much pressure on that side makes it worse. Or it feels that way at least." I replied. "Let me have a look at it." Brandon said and I raised my shirt. I let him take the bandages off and heard him sigh. When I looked down it was starting to turn black. "You can ride on Lane, let's go." Brandon said, helping me to my feet. I went to take a step forward and dug my nails into him, "What the hell is happening?" I gasped before he picked me up. His eyes were glazed over so he didn't hear what I had said. "Leia! What is happening?" Brad asked running up to us. "I don't know, it's not healing." I replied. "I see that, here give her to me and you shift." Brad said, taking me from Br
Brandon POV: When I got home I heard the TV going, I didn't know if she had gone back to sleep or not. I tried to tiptoe my way through the house when I heard her giggle and I stopped. "You are so loud you know." Leia said and I laughed. "At least I tried." I replied and I heard her giggle again. It was one of my most favorite sounds in the world. "You have cement blocks for feet. Now come tell me what's wrong, I can smell the stress on you." Leia said and I closed my eyes for a moment. There was no easy way to tell her what happened so I was just going to have to come out and tell her. I opened my eyes and walked into our room and saw she was sitting up with a cup of tea in her hands. Her face looked a little better than before so I knew Una was healing her to the fastest she could but she was still going to need a day or two but at least she could laugh without it hurting. "Tell me what's going on." Leia said, patting the spot in front of her. "Let me change real quick." I repli
