Chapter 15:

Pythia POV:

I grabbed Leia by the shoulders and tried to hold her still. "Get her on her side now! Someone go get that pack doctor, tell her what's going on. NOW!" I yelled, pulling Leia on her side. I lifted her chin and opened her mouth letting her tongue fall out. "Get me something flat." I said looking down on her. "Leia, can you hear me?" I asked opening her eyes, they rolled to the back of her head and I got no response from her. "She passed out." Una yelled. I could hear the panic in her voice. "Una, listen to me now, I need to try to shove your way forward. As hard as you can." I said sticking a small card on her tongue to keep her airway cleared. "Move." The doctor said squatting next to Leia. "What did you do to her exactly?" She asked, looking over at her. "We had to nearly drain all of her blood and nearly boil it to clean it but she was fine until I stepped out." I replied. "Okay look in my bag and grab the syringe and hand it to me quickly." She said rolling Liea back on her back. I did as she said and I took the cap off of the end of it and handed it to her.

I watched her feel around her chest before she stabbed her and injected whatever was in it. She wrapped a blood pressure thing around her arm. "What did you do to her?" I asked. "Her body went into shock, normally when that happens adrenaline pulls them back out of it. What is going on with her?" She asked. "Well, she's not in control over her body due to the forbidden magic so we are getting it out of her." I replied. "Can you speak with her at all? I need to know if this worked." She replied. I sat down next to her when her eyes snapped open. "What the hell happened?" Leia asked and I let out the breath I was holding. "You seized up." I replied. "She's awake?" The doctor asked. "She is, thank you. I'm Pythia." I replied, extending my hand out to her. "Julie, I think we have met, there is just a lot going on right now. Anyways I'm going to leave a few of these with you in case this happens again. You need to make sure you hit her center chest for it to work." Julie said, digging around in her bag. "We will do that. Thank you again." Lillith replied, taking the syringes. "You are welcome, should I tell Alley?" Julie asked. "No, please don't tell anyone that you were here. She wants it that way." I replied, looking down at her.

Julie nodded her head before she stood to her feet. "If there is anything else I can do let me know. I'm always available." Julie said before Ashton grabbed on to her and took her back to I'm guessing her office. "You gave us a scare." Lillith said, looking down at Leia. "I'm not sure what happened though." Leia replied. "She doesn't know what caused it. Julie said your body went into shock." I said looking between them. I sat down when something caught my attention. I looked down at her hand to see her index finger was moving slightly. "Do that again." I said looking closer. "I'm not doing anything, what are you talking about?" Leia asked and I remember Una. "Where is Una?" I asked. "I don't know, I woke up and she was gone." Leia replied. Then it dawned on me, I wasn't really familiar with how wolves shift or what that is even like. "I need you to find her and help her, she is trying to push through." I said, jumping to my feet. "Watch her for a moment." I added before I walked back out of the room and back down the hallway. I didn't see her family anymore which told me they were done donating the blood that we had needed. I walked into the room and grabbed a blood bag before I walked back out.

I didn't have time to stop and talk to anyone because if my theory is right, Una will be able to break through. I ran back into the room and started hooking everything up. "What are you doing?" Lillith asked. "Una is trying to push her way out and she is succeeding a little bit. We just need to help her do that because once she does then she can push Leia out." I replied. "Will adding blood work?" Lillith asked. "I don't know, either way we have to add some to clean the rest out so it's worth a shot." I replied as the blood started to transfer. I scanned my eyes around her body looking for any movement and there was none. I closed my eyes for a second, "Una said she can feel the magic and stopped." Leia said, catching my attention. "Alright, we need to begin again. There is clean blood in you now and it should overwhelm the magic, we just need to clean it again." I replied. "Her wounds aren't healed fully just yet. we will have to cut her in new places." Lillith whispered. Shit, the last thing I wanted to do was add more to her but we had to do it if we wanted this to be successful.

I took a deep breath and looked down at her, "I've got to go and get my spell book, see if I can do this without burning you so badly. They are going to have to make new cuts but maybe I could put you to sleep for this. Think about it and let me know when I get back." I said standing on my feet. "Get her cleaned up first. I'll be back in a minute." I added before I walked out of the room and into the library. I started shuffling through books to see what all I could find. "Which one are you looking for?" Stony asked. "The one I was reading was about purifying her blood. She seized so I want to look for something else." I replied. "It's over here on your desk." Stony said, patting the desk. I walked over and scanned my eyes over the pages I already read. I knew that burning was the fastest way to clean her blood but I didn't want to risk her life anymore than I already had. "What about freezing it?" Stony said as he read over my shoulders. "It wouldn't do any good, we need it completely out of her system not frozen in it." I replied. The more I read the more I was becoming frustrated. There wasn't any other option other than packing her with herbs and letting it work its way through her system on its own.
