Chapter 14:

   *Pythia POV*

I honestly felt horrible for having to do this but we all knew there was no other way. She was losing a lot of blood and the last thing I wanted to do was worry her, "We need to start healing the open wounds, apply the herbs please." I said not bothering to look up. My main focus was casting the spells in the books and keeping an eye on her. Even though her outer body stopped jerking around there were still some movements. It was bad enough she had other cuts and bruises on her but now there was more. She would have scars on her body and I made a mental note to make her some sort of cream to lighten them so that they wouldn't stand out all that much. I took a deep breath and looked down at her, "Deep breath in there Leia." I said knowing she was about to start screaming again. "Richiamo la magia oscura interiore. Lascia questo vaso e torna alla madre terra!" (I call forth the dark magic within. Leave this vessel and return to mother earth!) I whispered. her body started jerking around as if she was going to have a seizure. "Steady her head." I whispered watching her skin turn a bright pink. I could hear Leia screaming and each time my heart sank further and further.

Normally I'm all about being tough about it but I've felt a small amount of what she is going through and I couldn't imagine the full extent to it. "Pythia, her family is here." Lillith called out. "Don't let them in here, take them to the other room and begin. I'll be there in a moment." I replied. I smoothed the hair back out of her face so I could see her clearly.   "Brucia la magia proibita dentro, lascia questo vaso!" (Burn the forbidden magic within, leave this vessel!) I nearly shouted. This only enhanced Leias screams inside. Her skin was hot to the touch but I didn't care, if I didn't do all that I could I would have to explain to her family and friends the worst of the worst and that is just something I was not willing to do. "Pythia, her body won't be able to withstand the heat, it could cause internal damage." Paige said with a worried tone in her voice. "Una is putting all her energy in to healing her for now from the inside, we just need to hope it works." I replied. "Put more wraps on her, Leia I need to go and see your family." I said looking down at her. "Please don't tell them anything." Leia whispered, I could hear that she was trying to catch her breath to even it out. "I won't, I promise." I replied standing on my feet. I walked over to the sink and quickly washed off the blood from my hands and arms.

I didn't want her family to see that and think the worst. I looked back to see the other girls were wrapping her body but careful enough not to touch her skin. I could literally see the water from them evaporating, releasing what looked like fog around her. "Just keep an eye on her, alert me of any changes." I said before walking out. As I walked down the hallway my mind was in different directions, if Una couldn't heal her then we had a bigger problem on our hands but I had the faith. Before I entered the room I smoothed down my hair and squared my shoulders, keeping my head high. "Thank you for coming." I said looking around. "Thank you for calling for us, I'm Greg, this is Karla and you know our son Brad." Greg said and I smiled at him. "It's very lovely to meet you all, I'm Pythia and I need a favor from you." I said. "Of course, anything. What do you need." Karla asks fidgeting with her hands. "We need a blood donation from each of you. She will need a blood transfusion but everything is fine." I replied, assuring them that it was nothing more. "How is she doing?" Brad asked softly. "She's a very strong young lady. I have full faith that she will come out of this stronger." I replied.

"You can talk to her right?" Karla asked. "I'm the only one that can talk to her at the moment, she still has no control over her movements or anything but I've connected my mind to her." I replied. "Can we see her?" Greg asked. "I'm afraid not, that is not an image any of you want and I must respect her wishes." I replied. "We understand, will you tell her that we love her.. Please? Tell her everyone is praying for her." Karla said with tears in her eyes. "I will, but I will say this, she wants to go on a vacation somewhere and I think that is a wise choice. She will need time to heal herself after all of this and I don't think she will want to be around a lot of people while she does that. I will update you as it progresses. Brad may I have a word with you." I asked, looking at him. He nodded his head, "If you two could have a seat, Stony and Lillith will get everything started for you." I said with a small smile before I turned around and walked back into the hallway and into another room. "I didn't want to tell your parents this because they are going through enough." I said seriously. "I'm all ears." Brad replied, taking a deep breath. "Leia will need to go somewhere and I don't really care who takes her but I've been poking around her mind and it's not good. What she went through has traumatized her to the core. She will have a form of PTSD and more than likely nightmares. She will need special care for a while." I said slowly making sure he heard every word.

Truthfully I was worried for her, "I will take her away, we've always been close I can handle it." Brad replied without even taking a breath. "Good, right now she is staying as strong as she can, I will let you and only you know of anything else. Please do not tell your parents for right now." I said. " I won't say a word. Thank you for all of this." Brad whispered, hugging me. I stiffened but hugged him back. "Pythia.. We need you." Paige said with a tone in her voice. "Go back to the other room with your parents. I must go." I said walking out and running into the room. My eyes landed on Leia, her body was seizing, she had foam coming from her mouth and I jumped into action. There was no way I was going to let her die on me.. Not now.
