Chapter 10:

     Brandon POV

I had just gotten back in time to see Alley had teleported the group we had sent out. I was curious to see if they found anything, at least I could tell her family some good news for a change.

"It's teleportation, I tend to be impatient at times. We need the full details, how many, where are they, the main entrance? All details please." Alley said, walking over to Stephan. I coughed back a laugh from their reactions. "Well they have one main house which is where Bosch is, then they have three others that surround them, one for rogues, one for vampires and the other for the dark witches." One said.

"That is perfect. Any children or anything?" Stephen asked. "No children at all, we checked all the houses when everyone had cleared out of them." One replied. "Alley, there is someone we know.." Alley turned to look at the guys that just spoke "What are you talking about Tyler?" Alley asked, "It's Leia. Or at least it looks like her, it's not the leia I remember." Tyler replied.  "Wha- what? what was she doing?" Alley asked. My ears were perked up at this point. They were talking about the girl we had been searching for. "I don't know, I saw her with Bosch, she didn't act like herself. Her eyes constantly glazed over and did whatever he said when he said it." Tyler said, sounding a little sad. That isn't the Leia that was described to me.  "What else was she doing? How was she acting? How did she sound?" Pythia stepped up and asked. "She was near him at all times, kind of looked like a guard dog or something, it was like a robot took over her body, she didn't speak much but when she did it was like there wasn't life in her." Tyler said. Pythia exhaled a large breath, "She isn't acting like herself because she isn't herself. She is under the influence of dark magic." Pythia said a little too hesitantly. "What kind of dark magic?" Alley asked. "It's a rip off of what the twins are. Protectors. Guards. If she is a rogue how do y'all know her?" Pythia asked.

Alley pinched the bridge of her nose and took a deep breath, "She is my best friend from my other pack, she was acting strange, she was having a hard time with me moving but she went out to a party one night and never came back."  Alley replied. Why take her? Alley looked over at Jackson and he looked panicked "Why wasn't she stopped? What the hell happened" Alley asked, narrowing her eyes. "Don't you look at me like that! She went off to some party that she heard about, some famous singer was supposed to be there. Against our warnings she left." Jackson said. "But why her? Of all people he could force to protect him. Why her?" Alley mumbled. "Because none of you will allow any harm to come to her." Jeremy stated. All eyes landed on him, "If she is your best friend then Bosch knows it. What else is it about her that would peak his interest?" Jeremy asked. "She is my betas daughter." Alleys dad said. "Bingo. She is strong, protective by nature and valuable." Jeremy said. "We need to get her." Alley said.

How would we? If she is his guard dog then that means she will attack with no remorse and not because she wants to but because she has to. "She can stay with us, I can work on a removal spell." Pythia said. "You can do that?" Alley asked. She nodded her head, "It won't be an easy process but yes it can be done." Pythia replied. What process? I can't believe he would use her like that but then again it does not surprise me at all. This ruins the surprise attack. "How are we going to get her?" Jackson asked. "I don't know. We can't get to her without Bosch seeing." Alley said. "The longer she is under the spell the more she will lose herself." Pythia said. Okay so we need to think of something quickly. "When did she leave his side?" Alley asked "The only time she did was when he told her to go off and do something." Tyler replied. "Okay so we need to cause a distraction to where he sends her alone and grabs her then." Alley said. "Where are her parents and her brother?" Alley asked, looking at Jackson. "They are at their house." Jackson said.  "Get them here, I want to hear what all they have done to find her and they need to know what happened so that they can understand and know that we are going to get her back." Alley said. "No one is allowed to step outside of the protection we have put up." Alley added.

I stood to my feet ready to go and deliver the message and get her family here. They won't like what they are about to hear but maybe by the time we get back they will have a plan that they can tell them to assure them that we will get her back. "You have become a little close to the family." Alex said, pulling me from my thoughts. "I guess, I just feel for them, you know? You can tell they love her and want her back." I replied, shrugging my shoulders. "True, I would do the same for you though." Alex said, bumping into my shoulder. "Thanks man, I'd do the same for you too." I replied as we got outside. The second our feet touched the ground we shifted and ran as fast as we could. We stopped just outside of their house and shifted back. I knocked on the door and stepped back waiting until the door flung open. "Any news?" Brad asked. "Yes, we found her but none of you are going to like hearing it. We need the three of you to come with us." I replied. "Where is she?" His dad asked, stepping forward with his mother behind him. "We don't have her just yet but they are coming up with a plan now. Please come with us." Alex said gently.

We didn't want to upset them but I wanted to be truthful as well. "Alright well let's go." His mother said pushing past all of us. Brad held me back for a second, "Be honest, how bad is this?" Brad asked. "It's bad, she is  under dark magic but the dark witch queen said she can lift it. We have to capture her first though." I replied whispering. I heard Brad curse under his breath before we started walking forward. "Don't worry man, Alley will get her back, we all will." I said, patting his shoulder. "I know, I guess I'm still kicking myself in the ass." Brad replied, shaking his head. "Don't. From what I was just listening to, she is going to need a lot of time, love and support and you have to let go of the past and be there for her." I said. I really did feel bad for them, I couldn't imagine something like this happening to my family.
