As soon as they were out, they no longer wasted their time and headed back to the inn. No one was talking as they made their way to the home stay. It was as if someone casted a silent spell on them. None of them felt like breaking the silence and so they continued to refrain from saying a word and it continued like that until they arrived.
When they got there, the two decided to part ways. Alex went to the kitchen to help Aunt Hersia into preparing for the business, while Shantal on the other hand, headed straight to her room. The first thing that Shantal sought as soon as she entered her room was a towel because she felt like she badly needed to take a bath.
