I was taken aback when I heard her but it was not because of her question. But instead, it was of how the way she sounded when she asked me the question. Her voice was heavy with the tone of despondency that even just by hearing her, I could already feel the pain behind it. Yet, before I could even say anything she already added,
"If so, please do tell me about it all right now. I am giving you this one time chance to go clean with me."
I knew for a fact that our young miss was actually not that forgiving type of person. But when she told me that, I could already tell that those words were not actually meant to be said to me. From how I see it, those were more like her unspoken thoughts.
