I know that Jodi was trying to praise me and to be honest, I appreciate it. But of course, I don't want it to show in my face so I acted like I was nonchalant after hearing her comment. However, when I saw Alex finally taking a bite from the food I gave him, I hurriedly turned to him. I waited in anticipation for his reaction but he was keeping a straight face as he chewed his food thoroughly. In the end, I succumb to my curiosity and unable to hold back myself, I asked him.
"Do you like it?"
I was kind of nervous when I asked him that question. But when I got an affirmative response from him in return, I could not get happier.
