Chapter 105

Writer's POV

As if a big bell was placed on Harrison's head and banged with an iron, that was how surprised Harrison was. He looked at her blankly, not sure of what to say to her next. She was the one he was looking for. Perhaps, he should have just left and not waited for her at all, then he wouldn't be receiving such news and that wasn't the worst part. The woman was her mother.

Now it was understandable why she didn't want to see him but he was still confused. "Do you know what you are saying? I have known this woman since I was a kid. She was always upset." He doubted if she would want to know that her mother was like a servant to them before they kept her in the other old house.

He didn't know exactly why the whole family passed her around. She even worked in the house he was living in before she was taken to another house. He didn't know why but he was a master kind of person to her. How would he reconcile with the person he wants to make his wife?
