Chapter 41— He was letting go

Alexander drummed repeatedly on his attire. "I hate you!" Her voice reverberated in his ear even though it's been one hour she left.

She shouldn't. He couldn't take it. He took a deep breath and shut his eyes. She was the only one who his heart wanted out of the multitudes. She shouldn't hate him.

He felt the need to hold her close. But he couldn't. The forces pushing him away from her were greater than the forces that bound them together.

But maybe he could break it. He was going insane knowing she hated him. He stood to his feet at once. He had to talk to her.

She shouldn't hate him. That would be the biggest thing that'd break him.

He trotted out of the office at once. Seeing her was what he wanted. She was the one his heart yearned for. He reached his car and got in. He needed to rest his orbs on her.

The drive to her apartment was a fast one. He parked in the parking lot and just as he made to step down, he paused at the image that got off the stairs.
