I entered Troy's office, and he was engrossed in his work, just as usual. When he noticed me, he lifted his head. He was obviously surprised to see me. Our last argument had left us both bitter and hurt. I suppose I might have overreacted, and we exchanged hurtful words, some of which even affected my best friend, Alex.

"Blue," Troy began. He stood up and walked over to me. He raised his hand as if asking for permission to hug me. I nodded, unable to speak.

Once I rested my head on his chest, tears welled up in my eyes. I missed him dearly. The past week has been incredibly hard for me.

"I am so sorry, Blue. I should not have said that," Troy admitted.

"Me too. I am sorry for what I said," I apologized.

"I miss you so much, Blue," Troy said, comforting me by gently rubbing my head.

"It's okay, Troy. I miss you too," I whispered, my voice still shaky from crying.

Troy pulled me closer, holding me tightly.

"I love you, Troy. I don't want to lose what we have."

Troy smiled and kissed my

ANTONIO POV.Finding the witch sisters has proven to be a tougher task than I initially anticipated. I wonder why Alpha Blue was so determined to find them and what made them so significant. I also pondered whether she had any personal connections with these witches. In truth, while I was curious about the reasons behind her quest, my primary motivation was financial gain. If I could discover the whereabouts of these witches, I believed it would open up the opportunity to secure enough money that could significantly enhance our quality of life.I returned to my old friend's place, the same one I had taken Blue to previously. There was a distinct lack of trust between us, which seemed to be the norm in this line of work. It is a world where you either outsmart or get outsmarted."Hey, long time no see, my friend," I greeted as I entered his building."You stole from me," he accused as if he had not tried to deceive and steal Blue's Crystal."What are you talking about?" I replied, fei

FREDA’S POV.“There is a letter from your dad for you, ma’am.”Chloe's words took me by surprise, and she handed over the letter with a knowing look. My heart began to race as I took the envelope from her. My relationship with my Dad had been strained for years, and it had only worsened when I stood my ground and refused to marry Troy. He rarely sent letters, and when he did, it was usually for something significant. This letter bore my father's official seal, which heightened my curiosity and apprehension as I carefully opened it, unsure of what awaited me within.Dear Freda,I am not satisfied with your progress in developing a relationship with Troy. I have given you enough time to get to know him and to grow fond of him, but I have seen no signs of progress. As a father, I am concerned that you are not taking your future seriously. Your actions reflect poorly on our family, and I am extremely displeased. If you do not change your attitude, I will be forced to reconsider your place

BLUE’S POV.We were planning to have a friend picnic at the beach, more like a family outing because Mary, Xena, and their little son had become like family to us. This was the first time we would be spending time together since I returned from the Moonlight Pack. Since my return, I have not had the chance to spend time with Mary, and I missed her a lot.I went downstairs to put on a long yellow sundress and brown sandals. I applied minimal makeup and sprayed some perfume before making my way downstairs.Troy was already waiting for me downstairs, looking as beautiful as ever."Hello, my beautiful lady," Troy greeted me as I descended the stairs. "You always leave me breathless," he complimented, making me blush. He had a way of making me feel special."Thank you," I replied, wrapping my arms around him."I should be the one thanking you for entering my life. I can not imagine how I was managing without you," Troy said."Quit flattering me," I playfully scolded, lightly tapping his so

BLUE’S POV.Troy swiftly swam towards the direction of the drowning person and managed to reach her in time, pulling her to safety. He carried her to the shore and gently laid her on the sand, quickly performing chest compressions to help her breathe. We all gathered around, anxiously watching as Troy worked to revive her. Freda coughed violently, expelling water from her lungs. "Are you okay?" Mary asked, offering a towel to wrap around her.Freda nodded, looking rather frightened. Something in her demeanor made me suspicious. It seemed like she might have faked the drowning incident as a way to get Troy's attention."What the hell, Freda? Were you trying to kill yourself?"Troy scolded Freda.Tears welled up in her eyes as she replied, "I am sorry."Troy questioned her further, "Why did you even go into the water? Last I remembered, you did not know how to swim."Freda explained, her voice trembling, "The weather was too hot, and I just wanted to cool down. I was going to stay clos

Leaning in, I gave him a tender morning kiss.Troy was about to get up, but I held him back. “ No, stay right here,” I said.Confused, he asked, "Why?"With a smile, I replied, "I want to make breakfast for my sweet pumpkin."Surprised, Troy stared at me, almost in disbelief, since I was not known for preparing breakfast or any meal, for that matter.“Are you sure?” Troy asked.I nodded, assuring him, “Go and have your bath. Once you are done, breakfast will be ready.”“Well, I can not say no to that. What’s on the menu, chef?” Troy said.I winked, “It’s a surprise, but I promise it will be delicious.”“Please do not burn the house down.”He grinned playfully,Chuckling, I replied, “I promise I won’t. ALEX’S POV.My head remained submerged in the water, and with every struggling breath, I inadvertently gulped down more water. I fought desperately to push myself up from the old, rusty bathtub's sides, but he was relentless, pressing me down. As the room spun, my oxygen deprived mind begged for air, and the bathtub's sides felt like cold prison bars. Just when I thought I was about to lose consciousness, he abruptly lifted me out of the water."Are you ready to talk now?" he demanded, his voice dripping with anger.Coughing violently, I expelled water from my system and ignored him, my head throbbing with pain, a relentless drumbeat of agony. His anger flared, and he slapped me across the face, demanding again, "Are you ready to talk now?"“What the hell, man?” I yelled, clutching my stinging cheek. “I know nothing!”My words fell on deaf ears as he forcefully dunked me into the water again, and I found myself locked in a desperate struggle for my life. His strength seemed superhuma

TROY’S POV. I was working up in my office, paper stacks piling high, and those annoying overhead lights flickering away. My trusty pen was on a mission, leaving its marks and scribbles across the pages. My desk, well, let’s just say it was an organized mess of papers, folders, and coffee mugs.As I continued sifting through the papers, absorbed in the task, I was interrupted by a soft knock on the door. Startled, I looked up to see Freda, standing there with a warm smile. "Got a minute, Troy?" she asked, breaking the solitude of my office.“I’m in the middle of something,” I replied, my gaze returning to the document in front of me.She persisted, her tone gentle but insistent, “Troy, just a moment, please?”I let out an exasperated sigh, setting my pen down. “Okay, what’s on your mind?”With a warm smile, she spoke, “I wanted to thank you for saving me from drowning at the pool last week. BLUE’S POV.While I was in the bathroom, drying my hair after a relaxing bath, I found myself wondering about ways to keep myself occupied. It occurred to me that I tend to feel lonely when Troy is not around and I know it because I spend most of my time with him. I need to go out more and make some new friends. Although Mary is my friend, she is often busy and does not have time to hang out. I also can not help but think about Alex. I do miss Alex, I hope he is okay now and he has forgiven me. I should probably write a letter to him.As I was diligently drying my hair, I made my way into my bedroom, where my tranquil state was instantly shattered by the presence of a figure standing near the door. My heart raced as I looked closely, only to realize that the mysterious intruder was no other than Sabrina, my annoying witch guide."What the hell, Sabrina, you can't simply come into my house without warning," I scolded her, my voice trembling with annoyance.Sabrina, not caring about m

Chapter 138 – Blue’s POVThe world outside felt eerily calm as we prepared to set out. Emily’s sobs echoed in my mind as I stood by the window, staring into the night. It was the calm before the storm—a silence that weighed heavily on all of us.Troy’s presence beside me was steadying. He placed a hand on my shoulder, his grip firm and reassuring. “We’ll get him back, Blue. We’ll bring Nathan home.”I nodded, steeling myself. “And we’ll finally end this madness.”Emily sat nearby, her face pale and drawn, clutching the last remnants of hope she had. Her brother’s life hung in the balance, and we couldn’t fail.Troy stepped forward, the sword from his uncle’s chest now sheathed at his side. “This might be more than just saving Nathan. If Emily’s right, this man—the one behind all of this—could be tied to the secrets of the cult. He might even be the one who’s been orchestrating the attacks against our pack.”I swallowed hard, the weight of his words sinking in.“You don’t think…?” I he

EMILY’S POV. Humming a turn mindlessly, I strolled along the lonely part leading to my house. It was a shortcut that I had not used in a while but today I decided to take that lane because I was exhausted and needed to rest. While walking I noticed an unusual sound and I turned around to see a man standing beside me. He was wearing all black and wore a mask too, so I could only see a part of his face. “Hey, “ I said trying to hide my fear, it was strange to see another person walking in the same lane because it's usually quiet and nobody uses it as much. He did not say anything, so I kept walking fast and trying to be on high alert. The man eventually caught up with him. At this point, the hair on the back of my neck was standing and I did not know if to run or pretend to be brave. So I choose the latter.“Are you sure you did not take anything from that room,” he asked.“What are you talking about?” I asked, walking faster, trying to get away from this creep. “You know exactly

BLUE’S POV. I went upstairs to tend to my crying babies. I entered the room to find Troy was already there, gently rocking one of the babies side by side and whispering soothing words to both of our little ones. I placed my hands on his shoulder, thankful for his help before going to carry the other baby to breastfeed.I settled into the nearby rocking chair, cradling our second baby close, and chuckled softly. “They like having a lot of attention, don’t they?”He nodded, his gaze shifting between our babies. “They do,” he said, and then smiling softly, he continued ” They are just like their mama, always wanting all of my attention,”“What do you mean?” I pouted, “I definitely do not disturb like this kids,”“Whatever you say, darling, whatever you say,” he responded and kissed my forehead. “They took after their father, not me,” I protested. “I was a sweet little girl growing up and never cried over nothing,” I said proudly.“Even that statement sounds like a lie,” he said cockil

I noticed she seemed uncomfortable and bothered about something.“Good morning, Blue,” she greeted, “I am sorry for disturbing you but there is something that I need you to see,” “What is that ?” I asked, curious.“It does not look like much at first sight but I think it holds the answers we have been looking for and hopefully it will help us trace the people who experimented on Alex,” Emily said, then unzipped her backpack and brought out some drawings with strange drawing and a green book which looked like something I have seen before. “Where did you get that book from?” I asked while pointing at it. “My brother gave it to me, he said Alex had lent it to him before his death,” she paused studying my reaction, and then continued, “At first glance, it looks like it has nothing to do with anything that has been happening lately and just any regu

Cause I would have sworn you were going deaf,” I spat in anger.“Easy there now Child, your anger is too much and we don't like it when. People visit our arena with that much anger, it disrupts the balance of my realm,” she said calmly. The way she sounded calmly made me even more angry.“What do you want Child,” she asked softly, “I am guessing I already know why judging from your anger but I would like to hear you speak for yourself,” “Why did you not inform me earlier, you said you w

EMILY’S POV. I walked up very early in the morning clutching tightly the bag which contained Alex’s drawing and potentially the evidence we needed. I heard the bag tightly throughout the time, afraid that it might disappear or someone would come to steal it from me. I needed to speak with Blue as soon as possible and I went into the shower for a long bath to calm my tired nerves. I got out of the shower and dried my hair when I noticed something was missing. I looked around and the bag was nowhere to be found. I started to panic. Had someone broken into my house when I was bathing? I quickly searched the entire house when I saw Nathan, my younger brother holding the paper in his hands and the other scattered on the ground.“Nathan, what are you doing ?” I shouted at him which startled him. He turned to look at me and immediately he saw my angry expression and said “I am so sorry Emily,” he asked. “What the hell is wrong with you,” I scolded, while arranging all the paper together

I am fine,” I responded while wiping my hands dry. “Is it about Alex, because if it is, you know you can talk to me,” I responded. The mention of Alex, felt like she put a dagger through my heart and I could feel the intensity of the pain I had been trying so desperately to avoid and I started crying again. Veronica walked up to me and started hugging me and patting my back. “Is okay sweetie?” he whispered into my ears as I cried into her shoulders, “let it all out?” I sobbed uncontrollably into her arms for what felt like forever. “I don't know if I would ever stop to feel this pain?” I sniffed and I lifted myself from her warm hug to look at her. “I don't know if this pain would ever go away, Veronica. It hurt too much,”“I understand you,” she said as she tucked a loose strand of my hair be
