Declan’s POV

I couldn’t stop thinking about Kendal all day long.

I was annoyed and at the same time, I had a strong feeling that I merely overreacted. I felt bad for judging her that quickly even if I’d promised her I’d never leave her.

But I still saw no reason why someone she had no relationship with whatsoever would try to implicate her.

I sank into my chair and buried my palm and pondered hard on what to do next. Just then the door knob turned and Olivia strolled in.

I scoffed at seeing her because now wasn’t the right time for anyone to try and get on my nerves.

“What do you want?” I scoffed with a frown plastered on my face.

“What do you mean what do I want? I saw the frown on your face and I wanted to check up on you. I don’t think that’s a bad thing to do.” She whimpered with a fake countenance plastered on her face.

I wasn’t even in the mood for any of this to be frank. I was perplexed and I was too tired to even reply to anything she was saying.
