Kendall’s POV

“Let me go, Declan, don’t let them take me away.” I pleaded as the guard held my hands firmly and dragged me along.

“What are you waiting for? I said you should throw her into the dungeon. Don’t let anyone get access to her, I’m the only one who can check up on her.” He ordered turning his back on me and walking away.

I struggled to get out of the clutches of the guards and I ran to him and held his legs firmly.

“Please let us talk about this Declan, let me prove my innocence to you. I’m being framed here, I would never do anything to hurt you. I’ll do anything to prove that to you just don’t let them take me away, I didn’t do anything.” I pleaded as tears fell freely from my eyes.

The guards ran to me and dragged me away from his leg. He didn’t even turn to look at me one bit.

I wondered if this was the same Declan I had known all these years or if something was wrong somewhere. The Declan I knew couldn’t even bear to see me in pain.
