Sasha's POV

My heart was in my mouth as I was seated face to face with death.

This was the height of being Mrs. Valentino Rex. I was now used as a specimen in a dicey game and a man's life was the settling score.

“I'm going to jail,” I screamed at Valentino as he stood there impassively.

Valentino didn't seem to act like anything had just happened. He was like a doctor who had seen too many deaths in the hospital ward and wasn't moved any longer by deaths.

“Say something. Don't just stand there looking at me this way,” I said, screaming at his face.

Valentino responded to me in the most awkward manner I could imagine.

He simply clapped his hands saying, “Bravo, nice shot you got there. Just a little more polishing and you'll be fine.”

I was shocked as to how he responded to me. This man was a psycho. I married a man and now I will go to jail for my wrong decisions.
