CHAPTER 57ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV These few weeks, Montana and I avoided each other like a plague, but it was more on her part because there were times when I wanted us to talk, but she absolutely just acts like I do not exist, she does not even look at me.And my pride won't let me go talk to her to stop all this madness.I even went as far as sleeping with Ava again in my room and making sure Montana knew just to get a reaction from here, why I did that, I have no idea. But still, when Montana saw Ava and I coming out from my room, while Ava was all over me, she just passed and acted like she saw no one."I think it is good she knows her place," Ava said while watching Montana walk away.I just ignored Ava, clearly was not happy because I did not get any single reaction from Montana.MONTANA'S POVDo you think I was not hurt? I was definitely hurt when I saw him with that slut, but do I have any right? No.I needed to leave this place anyway as soon as possible
CHAPTER 58MONTANA'S POV Oh, no! That did not just happen! I did not just get caught. I needed to improvise, think Montana, think."I asked a question, who are you? Turn around and show your face", The person said, a guard warrior, I suppose.I turned around, immediately getting into action, "Is there a reason you want to give me a heart attack?""Oh Luna," he said surprised, and gave a short bow."I am going to give these bags to a friend, it has food in them, and she is waiting for me outside, Goddess what if the food had poured because I stumbled or something?", I asked him."I am so sorry Luna, I had no idea it was you," he said sincerely, "I apologize."I hummed and let out a breath, "It is okay, I just, she doesn't have much, and so I decided to help her, that is why I am sending this bag of food to her.""That is very kind of you", The guard said with a smile and a nod, "Do you need me to escort you?""No, no", I shook my head, "That won't be necessary,
CHAPTER 59MONTANA'S POV I collected my baggage from the carousel and my taxi was already waiting for me."French Quarter, please," I said to the driver. I had heard it was a very nice place in New Orleans, and they had good hotels too.Hopefully, it is what it said it is when I get there.I arrived at the French Quarter soon enough, and I had already looked up a hotel, plus the driver was kind enough to offer some recommendations that I searched through. When I got down from the taxi, I took in the sight of the lovely street and the historic architecture. It was indeed beautiful. This part of New Orleans might actually be a good choice. The Taxi driver helped me bring out my baggage and as I had now arrived at my selected hotel in the French Quarter. I thanked him, paid him with a little tip and entered the hotel lobby.Impressive look and design, I love it.I approached the front desk and greeted the lady behind it, "Good day, I would like a room please."I p
CHAPTER 60MONTANA'S POVThe next time I woke up was in a room. Through reflex, my hand immediately went to the back of my head and to my greatest surprise, I was not bleeding and had no headache.Sitting up, I found myself on a bed and in a small room. Now there was this girl directly in front of me, sitting up in her bed I suppose, "Hey, hey," I whispered, but she did not answer. She just sat there, staring into nothing, "Hey, girl", I tried calling out to her many times but still no response, and so I went up to her and tapped her.She only turned to me and stared at me, but never said anything.Suddenly, the door to the room got opened, and a man walked in. I remember him to be the man who pursued me earlier. My breath hitched as I stumbled backwards. He shot me a death glare and grabbed the girl. Suddenly, the girl started screaming, but still, he dragged her out and slammed the door shut.I ram to the door, shouting and screaming, "HELPPPPP!!!, SOMEONE PL
CHAPTER 61ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV It has been a few days now since Montana had disappeared, no news, nothing about her. Even my best trackers could not find her, she had covered her tracks pretty well.It felt like she had been planning this a long time, or was it since our argument. I was really frustrated because I wanted to let her know how I felt, I didn't want her to be in the mindset of our last argument and leave. But guess what? I can't find her. The kids told me everything that she had told them, none of it contained information about where she will be going to or when she will be back. The fact that there was a possibility that whatever she was going to do was going to be dangerous, and she might not make it out alive. Worsened it.Victoria was sad, but I think the later Montana gave her made her a bit understanding, but she was just angry that Montana did not discuss it with her, Instead of doing it alone.Plus, Montana had made a statement in Victoria
CHAPTER 62MONTANA'S POV I stared at Vito like he had gone mad. Whatever made him think I would strip in front of him. He better put those thoughts in a little box, lock it up tightly and throw both the box and the key, far, far, far away. Absolutely ridiculous, I must say."That is not happening, you will really have to kill me first before I strip in front of you", I spat out to him, giving him a look of disgust. From the first time I saw him, I already knew he would be a problem and despised him, and indeed he is a problem and constantly gets on my nerves. He did not say a word and just averted his gaze to another direction, "Make sure she is washed clean and neat."Who was he even talking too?I turned around, but I saw no one.Vito turned around to leave and I rushed to meet him because I do not understand what was happening, only for me to be pulled back by some hands, "There is no use fighting", it was a lady's voice. There were two of them and they st
CHAPTER 63MONTANA'S POV I decided not too, at least until I am sure I could trust her fully, for now, no one needed to know my reasons for coming here in the first place.Aria told me a lot about this place and sincerely speaking it did not sound good at all. The way she explained how they treat the girls here was more like torture etc. Forcing them to do spells and magics, including dark magic and different stuffs. She had also told me that some girls had died during the years due to weakness and doing some things which were not supposed to be done. And every so often they can use some girls or any as a test for different kind of stuffs. There was no way in hell I would want to ever remain here."Now some has lost hope of ever leaving, some are not mentally okay and some are like walking corps," Aria said, "But there are still some like me, like us, whose sanity is still intact because we do more of submit, begging than resistance in some cases.""You know
CHAPTER 64MONTANA'S POV Vito winked at me, but I turned my head and ignored him as he then walked away. I carried the plate of food up and thought I would throw up.Can't they at least prepare something eatable?I had to eat, but I did not eat much at all. The food was just a no for me.The day came to an end, we all were sent to sleep. That girl I met at first never came back that day, who knows where she was.A few weeks passed, and I was still in this place, so far, things were not that bad until they force you to do something and stuff like that. And as for me, they wanted to know and see my wolf, which is something I will never allow. Whatever they did these pass few weeks, I don't know how I was able to withstand it, but it was as if I had no wolf.I know I have a wolf, but it was like I didn't, Even Lady Scar, who had done her magic on me, was a bit confused and sent me away.So for some days now, I have been at peace, still weak but healing fast fro
