MELVIN

Melvin stared vastly into the empty space of his mind that was heavy with the thought of her, Khloe.

He was there with his mother but far away lost in the corner of his mind , unaware of even his mothers presence.

He heaved lightly as the candles flickered close to his bed rest. If there was anything he wanted most,if there was anything he wished for it would certainly be the wish to share everything he was feeling, to make his thoughts known to everyone who cared or listened.

Khloe was the woman in the prophecy and that to him now was a fact.

"You look so lost in thought." Katherine said looking deep into her son's face it was unlike him to be quiet for this long without saying a word.

Melvin looked at his mother and wondered if truly he should confide in her the words he is about to say.

Yes, she was his mother and of course she was nice enough to understand but when it came to the game of hearts even the best people in the world find it difficult to understand
