I sat across from the young woman, whose deadly stares were enough to burn me to ashes. If looks can kill, which luckily, they can't, I would have been long dead.

The woman sitting across from me doesn't look that older than me. She looks to be in her early twenties, which made her more of a threat.

She was dressed in a black off-shoulder gown, with a golden belt around her tummy. Her red hair was packed in a half ponytail, with the front in a ponytail, while the back was left to cascade down her back.

I wrinkled my nose as I watched her, to know what tricks she has up her sleeves.

So far, she hasn't asked Miguel whether I was a secretary or not. I guess she doesn't want to ask, fearing what the answer might be.

“So, is this all?” Miguel glanced through the file she presented the moment we came in.

“Yeah.” She nodded with a smile.

“You could have asked for my manager or the director in charge. Why did you ask me here?” Miguel folded his arms. “This isn't as trivial as you made it
