Kayla made me ponder so much that I didn't know when my father barged into my room. I jumped to my feet in fright and I was so shocked to see my father in my room and he was holding some sort of documents or something like that.

"These are the divorce papers, sign it and I would send it across to Conan. You must cut all ties with him because he isn't someone that you can be with and I wouldn't allow you to be with someone like that" He said while his words caused my heart to sink into my stomach instantly.

The thing was after everything that had happened between me and Conan since the day that I saw him in the police station, I didn't want to divorce him. I felt that it was all something that could be sorted out and ever since that day, there has been one crisis to another and with the way things were going, if Conan asks for the amount of money that was entailed in case I breach the contract, I doubted that father would be able to pay such huge amount of money.
