Conan’s POV

I glanced back and forth at Kayla and Matilda in disbelief because I have always known from the very beginning that there was no way Kayla and Matilda didn’t know each other and that was one of the many reasons why I made sure that Arthur kept tabs on the two of them.

But they were so smart to have hidden the fact that they knew each other but there could be a fact that Kayla was telling a lie since she knew nothing but telling lies and with Matilda in the picture, there was a high chance that whatever Kayla wanted to say had a great iota of truth.

“What do you want from me, do I even know who the fuck you are” Matilda snarled, slipping her hands through her hair.

Kayla clapped her hands dramatically. “Wow, wow, trying to act like you don’t know me when you and I are like the Yin and Yang that completes each other,”
