AVA

As Denis refused to leave, the tension in the room thickened. His gaze was unyielding, filled with a malicious confidence that made my skin crawl.

"I was there before any of you. Liam, Ava was never meant for you. She was my woman!" Denis declared, his voice rising.

"Ava was stolen from me by you Tysons to be married off to Liam, who is mentally unstable. Ava are you denying our love?"

A gasp escaped my lips as his words hung heavily in the air. "That's a lie! I don't even know you!" I retorted, my voice trembling with a mixture of anger and desperation. "Why are you doing this? What will you gain by doing this to me? Who sent you to lie against me?"

Denis stepped closer, his eyes gleaming with something dark. "You can pretend all you want, Ava, but I know the truth. We were together, and then you vanished, whisked away to become part of this family. And if you all don't believe me, you could ask her family, her parents were aware of our relationship prior to her marriage"
