Alex’s ears were ringing as he heard what the doctor had said. “I am sorry; I don’t understand what you are saying. Are you sure it is Ruby?”

“I am quite positive that the comatose lady was pregnant, and since you are the husband, I assume you already know about it.” The doctor frowned.
