Violet opened her eyes, awakened from her sleep. A feeling of embarrassment suddenly took over her as memories filled her head. Her heart was beating fast, her cheeks flushed red, remembering what had happened last night. She didn't understand why she could turn out like that.

It surprised her to hear Lucian's gentle voice. She just realized that he was lying next to her. He laughed softly, seeing her closing her eyes shut, pretending to be asleep. He brought his face closer to hers. "You were so... naughty last night. You sucked me dry," he whispered in her ear.
