“Kitten?”

I turned at the sound of his voice as Ian strolled into the kitchen one hand in his pants pocket, his expression cool. “I was just about to come get you, let’s go” he prompted at me to join him.

I dropped the glass into the sink running the water with a flick of my wrist “Go where?”

He looks to have changed from his suit this morning to a dark shirt and matching pants.

Ian comes up to stand behind me, this close I can see his hair is damp, and a dark strand of his falls over his forehead hanging an inch from his brow, he waves at my concerns “Don’t know” he cocked a brow “Anywhere, I’m in the process of making an executive decision” and I resisted the urge to lean forward and smooth his hair back from his forehead.

I bet it would be soft.

I turned to face him fully, trying to remember what he said, leaning against the counter I crossed my hands under my breasts, “Then shouldn’t you be doing that?”

Now standing right in front of me, he smiled “I am, but need to take my mind
