57: Innocently

Liam’s POV

Pacing around my study I tried to take deep breaths in calming myself down. I looked at the message on my phone and placed the phone back on the table. How did she request such an outrageous amount? I need more than enough money to make my trip to Hollywood more smooth.

Reaching for my phone, I was caught between calling Nana or Laura, maybe if I spoke to either of them I would be able to sort myself out. Why would Laura do something this heartless to me?

Sighing, I moved closer to the mini bar and got myself a glass of whiskey, gulping the entire content in the glass to calm my nerves it felt like my chest was burning up. “Aaargh!!!”
