24: A Painful Reality

Avery’s POV

The next day I woke up feeling sore all over, Liam was gone but the place he laid on last night was a little warm. It meant he left some minutes ago.

Stretching my hands I moved my thighs mistakenly the pain that shot through my body was severe, I must have sustained some tears from his rough sex last night but still, I had to clean around the house.

Slowly I got off the bed, I tried to sit but my waist and lower abdomen felt numb an excruciating pain shot through my whole body. It became worse when I tried standing up from the bed, my legs felt wobbly which made me fall on the bed.

Sighing, what did I get myself into? Feeling elated that at last my husband missed me so much and wanted me so badly he came into my room at midnight only for me to be treated like a piece of trash.

Instantly scenes from last night flashed through my mind, who thrusts into his wife without any foreplay? Liam is such a heartless person, but I just cannot bring myself to believe that he was c
