43. A Harmonious Scene

In all his life, Ansel had been to many places and even he had visited the slums once when they were building their charity

hospital but he had never thought that he would step inside one of the houses.

He didn't have a reason at all to and it would all have seemed far fetched.

He looked at the person who made him do all this and smiled.

Looking at Denise cooking was the best sight he had ever laid his eyes upon.

He loved that she was cooking for him. She looked like a veteran in there and he had to ask.

"You look like you know what you are doing," he commented and she looked at him with a smile.

"Yes I do. The other day you cut me short before I could tell you the rest of the story. After my grandfather died and I guess my

uncle decided I was big enough and his wife fired yet another worker, I had a lot more to do.

They hired a chef who taught me how to cook and it became my duty.
