At the stipulated date and time, Denise was at the Diamond Studios eager to start her work. What she liked most was that they had been told that there would be an allowance for the two weeks of the workshop. Imagine that! An allowance for being taught how to become a good actress! It was like hitting the jackpot.

Denise loved money. She knew that money made the world turn. She knew that if she wanted to be powerful enough and get people's respect (and top on this list were the Ashtons), she had to have money. She therefore was thrilled because this would be the first ever money she would earn doing what she loved: acting.
