19. Denise Ashton was Dead

Using the little money D had made the previous week, she woke up early the next day and went to the flea market. She needed to buy two things: 1 A few more presentable dresses and 2. Second hand books on and about acting.

She got a few tops and dresses for around five hundred dahlias and one book from the second hand book stalls entitled: A to Z of Creating a Character. She decided that since she didn't have money for now to help her get into any kind of a performing arts school, then all she could do was teach herself. Good thing was that she was a fast learner and was sure that she could do it.

She spent the next two days in her house teaching herself and practicing what she was reading. She learnt all the emotions and how to show them, how to cry at the snap of a finger, how to laugh as a sophisticated lady, how to be a seductress, a good housewife, a serious boss lady, a thief, a nun, an abandoned and homeless woman a bitch and all that.

She acted out any character she saw descri
