Catherine’s POV:
My training has then been like that for over two weeks. In just a short amount of time, Hunter told Damien I was ready.
After all, I did kick his ass several times for the whole of two weeks, and he gets surprised every single time I take him down with one or two simple moves.
It was all because of Damien’s advice, and he was the one I had to pay gratitude to for gaining Hunter’s acknowledgement.
In the past weeks, I noticed Drake hadn't been around since, and he was completely avoiding me every time I come across him at the hallway or outside Lilith’s room. I pondered over it for a while, and wondered if he had finally given up hopes in me. Still, it pains me that he kept ignoring me ever since we arrived here with my aunt’s pack of twenty other werewolves, and they all seemed to be doing fine. In fact, I saw Damien chatting with Tyler the other day, and they seemeCatherine’s POV: When I woke up, I was still lying on Damien’s strong arms. He woke up before me, and is now stroking my face gently as his eyes settled on my face. “Rise and shine, princess. Today is your long-awaited day.” He smiled. “You’re right,” I said and sighed. Today is also the day that I have to meet my mother and confront her. Ask her why she had lied to me all those years, why she abandoned the only child she had when she knew perfectly well about the pain of losing a part of the family, and a part of me. When I found out that my mother was alive, I was ecstatic, eager, and even excited to see her as soon as I can get back on my feet. The fates had their ways, and eventually they led me to discover the truth behind my mother’s true identity. Closing my eyes, I let out another deep sigh. “Don't worry, as long
Catherine’s POV: I blinked, staring closely at the crescent moon tattoo that was showing just on the middle of my back. It was large, covering up to my lower back but not any farther than that. “What does it mean?” I asked curiously. I looked at the details of the crescent moon more carefully this time, scrolling over the photos on his phone as I lifted it nearer to my face. “Hmm... Traditionally, the half-moon symbolizes the strength and power of a true Luna.” He uttered, causing my brows to furrow as I took in his words. “But... I’m not even officially a
Catherine’s POV: "What?" The question barely came out with a whisper. My heart was hurting, and his deep blue ocean eyes were making it worse. “I know you heard me crystal clear, Catherine. Do it, I’m begging you,” Midnight refused and rage combined with sadness arose inside me. I, on the other hand, was hesitant to even say anything to Drake looking at his state right now.NO! Midnight yelled, incredibly mad at his request for me to let him go.“Midnight, This is for the best.” I tried to comfort Midnight but she wasn't letting it go.&
Catherine's POV: Drake screamed painfully once again, drawing our attention toward him and we were quick to react. We surrounded his body and without hesitation I stepped in too. After all, this was all because of my being neglectful.“We need to reject him first, so he can accept the rejection and he won’t be in pain for long,” I said to my wolf Midnight. She remained silent for a few seconds, but finally gave me an answer I was waiting for. In order to do this, both me and my wolf should be ready to reject Drake, and choose Damien as my only mate. Midnight sighed a
Demiana's POV:Thanks to Lilith’s magical healing powers, Drake’s chest had been completely restored to the way it once was. Not even a scar has been left on that perfect, muscular body. I ordered two omegas, Sally and Paulene, to take Lilith to the hall so they can get her something to eat. It's past lunch already and I didn't see her shove even a single grain of rice in that adorable small mouth of hers. I then told thme to accompany her to play on the fountain near the garden because I needed to look after Drake.Drake was sweating all over his body. He was sleeping, yet he was panting and grunting like he was having a bad dream. I went to the kitchen and quickly grabbed a small basin and a towel before going back to Drake’s room. I poured warm water in the basin and squeezed the towel with both hands, then gently wiped it on the side
Drake’s POV: Several years ago... “Mom, Dad, please don’t leave,” I said desperately, tugging on the edge of their clothes as tears poured down my face. “You’re the only ones I have,” I choked, looking up at their backs hoping that at least one of them would turn around. Perhaps I was expecting too much as a child, because not any of them even cared to turn towards me to face me directly, their only son. There was a time that we were actually the happiest family out there. Dad would spin me around and help mom out in the kitchen, mom would make me her homemade dishes and I loved every single one of them. Years had passed and it seemed that their love was slowly starting to fade away. Eventually, they fell out of love, leaving me behind all alone simply because I became a reminder of their broken relationship, of their love that no longer had any spark. I was regarded as a mistake.
Catherine’s POV: “Are you ready?” Damien held my hand as we entered the car. I nodded, clenching my fists tightly while I checked on Midnight and Raya for a brief moment. We were headed to the Silver Moon Pack. Tonight, I will finally confront my mother and throw Easton off his current position of Alpha, because he no doubt does not deserve the title for what he is. Asshole. That pack has become a complete mess since Normn Braylle stepped into the light, becoming the worst Alpha that ever was in the whole United States. Now his son is proudly assuming the role his father once played. Hunter was seated in the front seat with the driver whereas me and Damien sat in the back. Black cars rode by Tyler, the other werewolves and Damien’s strongest warriors surrounded us on our way there. I reckon there are nearly a thousand of them who
Catherine’s POV:"Catherine STOP!" My mother shouted behind me. Damien took one look at Hunter and he nodded in understanding.“Ahh!” He immediately grabbed my mother’s hands, holding her forcefully from the back and she was pushed to lean forward, almost stumbling to her feet but Hunter easily managed to pull her back to her feet.Easton kept groaning under my grasp as I tried to hold him still.“Let me go you motherf***ing b*tch! This is my house! How dare you come in here uninvited just to ruin MY wedd--” Before he even got to push me back, I twisted his neck quick and hard. The sound of his neck cracking loudly shocked every single one in th

NARRATOR Catherine woke up feeling Damien's arm laying freely on her waist. She did not want to wake him up with her moving around so she stayed. Damien's face was now clean and smelled like fresh shower. But the damage of the wolfsbane had extremely damaged his sight forever, making it impossible for him to ever see again. This made Catherine's heart crumble. However she thought that if this was the price they had to pay to be together again, she would make it all worth it. She would help Damien get back on his feet. She would feed him until Damien leanrs how to feed himself. She will bathe together with him every day so that he knows he is never alone and that Catherine is there to guide him all the way. She would make him see all of her through the other senses he had not lost. Let his fingers trace every inch of her so he will remember the lines and curves of her body that craved so long for his touch. His embrace. The feel of his skin brushing against hers. The heavenly
CATHERINE's POV I woke up from a dream. A nightmare where I was stranded in darkness. Far away from my home. Far away from my loved ones. I found myself hugging my knees in the dark, unable to see or hear anyone on earth where I came from. I was crying. Crying so hard and loud yet no one seemed to have heard me sob and scream and grunt and cry. The place I found myself thrown into after feeling my last breath disappear into the wind, was starting to cave in on me and I was horrified. Is this the end? I waited for what felt like forever in this dark hole of abyss. All of a sudden, I caught two bundles of light that were coming forward towards me from the corner of my eye.
DAMIEN'S POVThat was the last bit of strength I had within me which I sacrificed to save my only son. I don't care how weak my body gets, or even how much I bleed from the corners of my eyes, or how I can't seem to see anything but darkness all around me. What matters most was that they're safe. I felt my head being settled ln something really soft and warm.Hercules purs and we closed our eyes to rest. But seconds after I heard gunshot. My ears rang as it was too close to where I was. Catherine's scent. I sniffed the air. My eyes grew wide when I smelled her scent blended with that of gunpowder. Was she shot?!At that moment I forced my body to rise. Get up and help my mate. But I couldn't. I can't see a damn thing after Sam gave th
CATHERINE'S POVI let Samantha's lifeless head drop down to the cold tiled floor, motionless. Furious for what she had done to my mate and our family, I let my fangs sink into her head, only deeper and more sharp. Her body that was just standing straight up not too long ago was now lying on the floor with a missing head. Soon her unmoving body was surrounded with a pool of her own vile blood. Her hand was stretched out, releasing the syringe she had used to inject Damien's eyes which was rolling on the floor, empty. I squinted my eyes and the enhanced senses had allowed me to know exactly what it was. Wolfsbane. I growled, and my blood boiled in hatred and disgust.Damien's continuous groans and cries abruptly pulled me out of my raging state and made my wolves whimper at the sounds he was making. We then immediately rushed forward to his aid. Because his hands, neck and entire body were chained against the wall, he could not rub his eyes and can only scream out the agonizing pain. I p
CATHERINE'S POVMy wolves were seething in anger. I felt my claws and fangs descend as I watched Samantha step forward and closer to my mate."Wake up." She order Damien like some animal pet that she felt belong to her. Only, he isn't. Damien is my mate and never will be hers.Gritting my teeth, I turn to Demiana, reaching out to her and Drake through mindlink.'Why is she here? This will sabotage our plan!' I had told them.'We'll find another way, Cath.' was Demiana's reply.'We need to think of some way, to get him away from Samantha' Drake said, his eyes still fixed on Damien and Samantha on the other side.
CATHERINE'S POVWe were in a closed room. Something like a storage room that we stumbled upon when we took a flight of stairs hidden on the floor. At first it was covered by the carpet but Drake spotted the markings and revealed a way."Are you sure this is going to work?" I ask Demiana. She didn't look at me but swinged her chanel bag to her side, bringing out some more of the clothes she packed earlier from the pack house. She had proposed we disguise as Samantha's close friends. That way we can get close to where Damien was without being caught. Well, hopefully."It will Catherine. It has to." Was her only reply.Sighing, I wore the tight leather pants and red sexy silk top before I slipped on the long b
DAMIEN'S POVHercules used to tell me to cling to hope. What is hope? Everything I have had been ripped away from me completely. I was once unyielding, unbeatable, indestructible. I was mighty strong and not even all the other alphas joined together could bring me down or make me kneel at their feet. One thing I didn't see coming, that meeting an innocent looking human girl like Samantha has cost me so much. My mate. My only son. My pack. Now I'm left with nothing but myself. I don't have anything and anyone in my pitiful life anymore. Not even my own wolf. I lost him after three years in this fucking shithole. I tried reaching for him, calling to him, but he never came back. Two years ago...I was chained to a large metal chair. My hands and knees were forced down and locked so that I wouldn't be able to get up. Ffight back. Maybe do something other than blink and let out low growls that weren't helpful either wa
LILITH's POVCharlie suddenly closed his book right after his mom exited the room. He then brought out a photo hidden under the small couch and I lean over to look at it.My eyes widened the moment I saw who he was looking at in the picture."Do you know him, Lily?" I frowned as he called me with that name again. Apparently he liked the sound of it rather than my real name, Lilith. He preferred it short and simple to speak.I press my lips together and stare at the curious lad.Should I tell him? Oh no, what if Luna Catherine didn't want me to?"Have you asked your mom that?"Charlie shakes his head, dropping his gaze
