Catherine’s POV:
Although I couldn't see his smile, I could taste his curiosity and excitement as I told him about the seal, about the scenes or flashbacks I saw in the memories of Grecietta, about my fight with Hunter, and about the inexplicable, powerful force I was able to conjure when I saw the bear threaten his life, even those instances where I lost control over my body as Midnight held the reins while I crouched my back staring into empty space in pure darkness.
“Can you try doing it again?” Drake asks ad I hesitate.
Opening my hands and raising them in front of my face once again, I tried to conjure up that incredible, invisible,
and powerful force I was able to
Catherine's POV:“Drake...”I whispered, eyes wide in shock. I could feel all the hair on my skin stand up as his breath brought warmth on my neck down my body, and I found it oddly difficult to move. The smell of his scent invaded my nose as quickly as he pulled me in.“Please...just tonight...” he pleaded. His voice cracked and I could easily tell he was desperately holding back tears. I sighed and let my body relax in his warm, comforting embrace.“Okay.” We stayed like that for a long time
Catherine's POV: A soft, feminine voice reached my ears, but my view was apparently blocked by Drake’s wolf. He wouldn't let me see the source of that voice coming from the outside. “YOU HEARD HER. STEP INTO THE LIGHT NOW! WHAT ARE YOU HIDING?!” The man yelled, too loud for my ears, while the other woman's voice sounded more pleasing and less aggressive. Drake growled at them fiercely, unwilling to move as he landed his large, firm paws on the surface with his back turned against me. “Drake, let's go.” I urged him. “Can’t you see, Catherine? They’re rogues, and there are about twenty of ‘em. Stay back, luna...please!” he responded with a growl, not directed to me but the the ones he called rogues. But I just knew deep in my heart that w
Catherine’s POV: “How...what?” Those were the only words I was able to articulate as I continued to stare into her familiar face, watching me with a shocked as well as confused expression the very first moment I stepped forward into the light.I knew Drake followed my every step and he was now watching us in his spot just right behind me, still in his wolf form. The woman standing in front of me was accompanied by two children hiding behind her back, a number of rogues, and a huge, muscular man glaring at me cautiously, ready to turn and destroy me quickly if I ever tried doing anything suspicious in his thoughts.Regardless of how many death g
Grecietta’s POV:Eight years ago...The arrival of Norman Braylle in the Silver Moon Pack’s territory marked the beginning of chaos and destruction that brought forth a shedding of blood, kill or be killed position for every member of the pack, as well as Alpha Daniel Grey's demise.I was hiding in a secret room behind the thick brick walls, where there was a gazebo and different shapes of flowers peeking all over the place. My hands were trembling violently as I listened to the wails and screams of those werewolves who refused to kneel down to honor the new reining Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack. Norman, fucking Braylle. He was a traitor to the pack, yet he wanted to stand in the position of Alpha because of his immense thirst for power and adoration of his subjects, of an entire pack. But I
Catherine’s POV: While I listened to Aunt Grecietta tell her story about how she landed herself to her surprise rogue mate right in the middle of nowhere just after being hit by my mother’s intense rage, I was continuously nodding my head every time she finished a sentence, eager and a little desperate to know more about what had transpired in that same room eight whole years ago, right on the same spot where she showed my that horrific memory, and told me to look for my mother somewhere far away from the pack house. When she finished, I stifled a laugh. I felt like going insane. The air around us fell into an eerie silence as I attempted to take in that piece of information all in just a few seconds from Aunt Grecietta, or should I say...the real Aunt Grecietta. Even after discovering the truth, the old Catherine within me refused to believe a single word. The old Catherine who watched
Catherine's POV: Drake kept me company the whole time. The rogues simply watched and started at us silently and I blocked all other sounds entering my head at this moment. When I finally calmed myself down, I released Drake from the comforting embrace and stepped back, looking at him from a farther perspective. Then, realization struck me as my eyes accidentally lowered down his thick, muscular thighs. But perhaps the most shocking thing I saw for the first time was that massive cock hanging in between his legs. I instantly shut my eyes tight and covered them with both hands. A sudden burst of laughter in the air around me made me flinch and my face flush bright red for my damn stupidity and embarrassment. I was too busy crying my ass off that I didn't notice him standing there in front of me...naked! He must have shifted back into his human form to
Alpha Damien's POV: It has literally just been a day, yet I can't stop thinking about them. I can not eat. Can't sleep. Can't even listen to a goddess damn thing my mother kept blabbering about all day. I never gave up on Catherine, and I’m still hoping she’d break down that mental block that kept me from communicating with her. Clenching my fists, I swore to goddess I would teach that Drake a lesson he will never forget for the rest of his life. As for Catherine, I was planning to punish her some other way. I instructed the others to take Hunter’s body to the investigation room. I had my gamma to take a look on the carcass so I could get some answers. I kept thinking of the reason why Catherine killed the gigantic man, and how the hell she was even able to do it. My wolf paced back and forth inside my head, which I was also doing at the moment.
Catherine’s POV: A few hours ago... “We don’t want anything to do with you. You people from the Blood Moon Pack think too highly of yourselves. You take our lives as jokes and do not care for mercy or second chances at all! Leave! Or I’ll have to make you with force.” Tyler was fuming with rage, and his nostrils were visibly emitting smoke from all that anger he was barely suppressing inside of him. Thinking of how much he hates the Blood Moon Pack, I realized how I cannot just leave things be like this. There is gotta be something only I can do. But what exactly can I do? I’m just Alpha Damien’s mate. Mate.. Wait a minute, I am Damien's mate! I lifted my head a little higher than before, as I felt the flow of confidence fuel me intensely, drawing from those last words that told me who I am in the Blood Moon P

NARRATOR Catherine woke up feeling Damien's arm laying freely on her waist. She did not want to wake him up with her moving around so she stayed. Damien's face was now clean and smelled like fresh shower. But the damage of the wolfsbane had extremely damaged his sight forever, making it impossible for him to ever see again. This made Catherine's heart crumble. However she thought that if this was the price they had to pay to be together again, she would make it all worth it. She would help Damien get back on his feet. She would feed him until Damien leanrs how to feed himself. She will bathe together with him every day so that he knows he is never alone and that Catherine is there to guide him all the way. She would make him see all of her through the other senses he had not lost. Let his fingers trace every inch of her so he will remember the lines and curves of her body that craved so long for his touch. His embrace. The feel of his skin brushing against hers. The heavenly
CATHERINE's POV I woke up from a dream. A nightmare where I was stranded in darkness. Far away from my home. Far away from my loved ones. I found myself hugging my knees in the dark, unable to see or hear anyone on earth where I came from. I was crying. Crying so hard and loud yet no one seemed to have heard me sob and scream and grunt and cry. The place I found myself thrown into after feeling my last breath disappear into the wind, was starting to cave in on me and I was horrified. Is this the end? I waited for what felt like forever in this dark hole of abyss. All of a sudden, I caught two bundles of light that were coming forward towards me from the corner of my eye.
DAMIEN'S POVThat was the last bit of strength I had within me which I sacrificed to save my only son. I don't care how weak my body gets, or even how much I bleed from the corners of my eyes, or how I can't seem to see anything but darkness all around me. What matters most was that they're safe. I felt my head being settled ln something really soft and warm.Hercules purs and we closed our eyes to rest. But seconds after I heard gunshot. My ears rang as it was too close to where I was. Catherine's scent. I sniffed the air. My eyes grew wide when I smelled her scent blended with that of gunpowder. Was she shot?!At that moment I forced my body to rise. Get up and help my mate. But I couldn't. I can't see a damn thing after Sam gave th
CATHERINE'S POVI let Samantha's lifeless head drop down to the cold tiled floor, motionless. Furious for what she had done to my mate and our family, I let my fangs sink into her head, only deeper and more sharp. Her body that was just standing straight up not too long ago was now lying on the floor with a missing head. Soon her unmoving body was surrounded with a pool of her own vile blood. Her hand was stretched out, releasing the syringe she had used to inject Damien's eyes which was rolling on the floor, empty. I squinted my eyes and the enhanced senses had allowed me to know exactly what it was. Wolfsbane. I growled, and my blood boiled in hatred and disgust.Damien's continuous groans and cries abruptly pulled me out of my raging state and made my wolves whimper at the sounds he was making. We then immediately rushed forward to his aid. Because his hands, neck and entire body were chained against the wall, he could not rub his eyes and can only scream out the agonizing pain. I p
CATHERINE'S POVMy wolves were seething in anger. I felt my claws and fangs descend as I watched Samantha step forward and closer to my mate."Wake up." She order Damien like some animal pet that she felt belong to her. Only, he isn't. Damien is my mate and never will be hers.Gritting my teeth, I turn to Demiana, reaching out to her and Drake through mindlink.'Why is she here? This will sabotage our plan!' I had told them.'We'll find another way, Cath.' was Demiana's reply.'We need to think of some way, to get him away from Samantha' Drake said, his eyes still fixed on Damien and Samantha on the other side.
CATHERINE'S POVWe were in a closed room. Something like a storage room that we stumbled upon when we took a flight of stairs hidden on the floor. At first it was covered by the carpet but Drake spotted the markings and revealed a way."Are you sure this is going to work?" I ask Demiana. She didn't look at me but swinged her chanel bag to her side, bringing out some more of the clothes she packed earlier from the pack house. She had proposed we disguise as Samantha's close friends. That way we can get close to where Damien was without being caught. Well, hopefully."It will Catherine. It has to." Was her only reply.Sighing, I wore the tight leather pants and red sexy silk top before I slipped on the long b
DAMIEN'S POVHercules used to tell me to cling to hope. What is hope? Everything I have had been ripped away from me completely. I was once unyielding, unbeatable, indestructible. I was mighty strong and not even all the other alphas joined together could bring me down or make me kneel at their feet. One thing I didn't see coming, that meeting an innocent looking human girl like Samantha has cost me so much. My mate. My only son. My pack. Now I'm left with nothing but myself. I don't have anything and anyone in my pitiful life anymore. Not even my own wolf. I lost him after three years in this fucking shithole. I tried reaching for him, calling to him, but he never came back. Two years ago...I was chained to a large metal chair. My hands and knees were forced down and locked so that I wouldn't be able to get up. Ffight back. Maybe do something other than blink and let out low growls that weren't helpful either wa
LILITH's POVCharlie suddenly closed his book right after his mom exited the room. He then brought out a photo hidden under the small couch and I lean over to look at it.My eyes widened the moment I saw who he was looking at in the picture."Do you know him, Lily?" I frowned as he called me with that name again. Apparently he liked the sound of it rather than my real name, Lilith. He preferred it short and simple to speak.I press my lips together and stare at the curious lad.Should I tell him? Oh no, what if Luna Catherine didn't want me to?"Have you asked your mom that?"Charlie shakes his head, dropping his gaze
