"Do you think only this road is a trap?" said Kirk.

Realization dawned on Anthony. Kirk was so familiar with Macldo. He obviously knew that there were other routes.

Finn's men would still be able to ambush them, no matter which route they took. If that was the case …

Anthony stared at the cars Kirk had shot at. They were all stopped on the road. He stopped hesitating.

Even if they were going to die, he would die with Kirk. Not everybody had the chance to take their last breath with such an important person.

With that thought in mind, Anthony stepped on the gas. The car shot forward like a bullet.

Finn's men crashed into the Shadowers, who were trying to stop them, and chased after Kirk. Alas, Kirk's aim was too accurate.

His shots hit home even though he was in a speeding car. In the blink of an eye, he had taken down a few more cars.

Those cars' drivers realized that the cars couldn't move even when they stepped on the gas. They punched the steering wheel furiously.
