While Gwen was lost in thought, the woman had already approached Sean.

"When did you come back, Sean? Why didn't you tell me something so important? Do you even see me as a friend?" She raised her fist and hit Sean's body as she said that.

At first glance, Gwen could tell that they were close. She clenched her fists. "Since you've bumped into an old friend, I'll go upstairs," she said, wanting to leave immediately.

As if she had just noticed Gwen, the woman asked in surprise, "Who's this?"

Sean grabbed Gwen and said, "This is my girlfriend."

Gwen's eyes widened slightly at his answer.

That woman looked at Gwen in disbelief. After a moment, she recovered from her shock and said gracefully, "So, she's your girlfriend. Forgive me. Hey, I remember the person I saw in the hospital didn't look like this."

She asked, "Are you wearing makeup? I heard that the makeup in Easton is great. It can change someone's appearance completely. No wonder I couldn't recognize you."
