He paused. "When it comes to hypnosis, if one's psyche gets damaged from their first hypnosis, they'll develop this knee-jerk reaction.

"They'll react violently every subsequent time they get hypnotized. Therefore, in your case, you must have been hypnotized before, and your psyche was harmed by it."
