Chapter 633

After hanging up, Caroline played Gwen's super long voice message.

It started with Gwen guffawing. "Carol, do you know who I bumped into when I went to visit my mom at the hospital just now? I met Eddy!"

"He's wrapped in bandages like a mummy!" she exclaimed.

"The doctors and nurses said that one of the elders in the Morrison family beat him up!"

"This is karma at its best!"

Gwen laughed and added, "Just who was the person who did this to him?"

Caroline didn't respond. She just listened quietly to Gwen.

Perhaps it was because Jude had taken a bullet for her that she didn't find any of this funny. Although she disliked Eddy and his family, he was Jude's grandson.

Gwen abruptly noticed that Caroline's status remained "typing …" for quite some time.

Gingerly, she messaged Caroline again. "Carol, I shouldn't have said that, right?"

When Caroline saw the message, she froze momentarily before smiling wryly at the screen to reply. "Nope. It's my problem."
