"These are two completely different things, Caroline," Layla said with a smirk.

"It's true that the Evans family is where they are today because of the Morrisons, but it has nothing to do with you not supporting your parents."

"My parents know better than anyone why I chose not to support them," Caroline retorted, glaring at Layla.

"Layla, don't think I don't know you're involved in this. You just got out of jail, yet you're trying to get yourself in there again."

Layla's expression shifted from Caroline's words, but she still smiled gently.

"Caroline, everyone here has a sense of who's right and wrong here. At any rate, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Dan won't release a video to clear things up."
