"No matter what, you would run away from here and won't look back at me. He is here."
Iris didn't understand a single word of his father, that was said to her. She didn't understand why her father would suggest running away when she could simply drive back to the airport. There was no such reason to ponder over a single matter like that. It was utterly the driver's fault who had eventually blocked their path. She watched her father taking the car backward as those two men who came down from the car started walking towards them.
That was the first time she noticed their features. Both of them were tall and muscular enough to tackle any sort of fight. They looked similar yet a little different. One of them ran his fingers through his thick brown hair while walking with a playful smirk. He looked a bit older than the other one.
Before Iris could say something to her father, she noticed he had already hopped off the car and walked towards them. At first, it looked more like a discussion that was taking place due to the short commotion that happened because of their suddenly parked car. Being seated inside the car it wasn't easy to hear out their words as they maintained enough of their lower tone.
Iris tried hard to not panic but her attempt became futile when the man standing there grabbed her father's collar and landed a punch immediately on his face. The impact was so hard that her father stumbled back and landed on the car's bonnet. A small gasp left her mouth when she saw them coming towards her father. Tyler wasn't ready for the blow at least in front of his daughter. His face smacked on the hard metal and the moment his eyes snapped towards the windscreen he saw Iris being panicked seated inside the passenger seat.
"Just drive to the airport and run."
Tyler mouthed that statement and surprisingly on the next move he jumped on one of those men to pin him down on the ground. Even though she had never seen her father fighting, the way he jumped looked more of a trained stunt. A large growling was heard followed by another one when another man came and pushed his father away.
For a second all three looked more like raging animals ready to tear each other without a second thought. Even though her father's loud voice boomed once again in her ears, she forgot to follow them.
"Get away from here Iris. Drive back the car."
Her trembling hands reached the seat belt to remove it. Even though she had to push herself in the driving seat her mind was still occupied with other things. Her eyes couldn't leave the sight she was watching. Two men jumped on her father.
She looked back once to see Uncle Jeremy coming out from the car. And before things could turn something wrong she pushed herself out from the car and rushed towards the area where those men were beating her father.
"Dad..........." She screamed, making them stop in their actions.
"Iris no........" Jeremy shouted from the back while running towards her. He was planning to drive her to the airport while Tyler was busy diverting those Knight Brothers.
"Get away from my dad....." Iris stormed in between them and pushed one of them away with her tiny hand.
"Iris......" Her father screamed seeing the damage that her daughter had already done.
"Wow........" The man didn't bulge but he released the grip on Tyler's neck and pulled him up on his feet. His golden-brown orbs were roaming on every single inch of her body. The man who was there behind her passed a throaty chuckle to them.
"Loo, brother, what we have got."
Leonard and Alex both laughed together seeing Iris standing all in rage with a flared nose and anger-filled eyes.
"You......how dare you to touch my dad."
In the next moment, a slap landed on Leonard's right cheek, and all of their faces turned into a shocked one watching the biggest mistake done by Iris.
"Iris......" Her father was the first person to shout with a bleeding nose and scratched forehead
"What did you do girl?" Jeremy rushed towards her but was immediately blocked by other men who had already come down from the other two cars that were encircling them.
For a second Leonard looked at the young small girl standing in front of her. In the next moment, his clenched jaw and burning eyes made it clear that he was pissed off beyond anything.
The entire area shook with his growling when he moved his face up and roared like a wolf. Irises' eyes narrowed with the sudden change of his demeanor. She couldn't understand how could a man roar like that. Her body froze when he shifted his gaze on her and she saw dazzling golden orbs.
One after another her feet started taking back steps seeing the man standing there with popped-up veins on his forehead and a tight fist. She didn't notice another man was standing just behind her. Her back footing halted when her back collided with a hard chest. Turning her face abruptly she saw the same rage in his eyes too but his eyes were more brown.
Something was wrong. Her mind tried to form an explanation but there was no answer left for her.
"Dad......" The moment she realized her mistake of slapping the man standing there, her meek voice searched for the shelter in her father's arms.
"You made the biggest mistake of your life....." Leonard spoke in a deep husky tone and the next moment she found her dad being held by his neck pushing him down on the ground.
"No.......dad....... You.....leave him....." Before she could take a step forward a large hand wrapped around her waist to stop her and it was none but Alex who was utterly angry.
"Now you would watch him die," Leonard spoke while putting pressure on his father's neck making it difficult for him to breathe.
"No....... Dad....... leave him... I am saying sorry. It was my fault. He didn't do anything... I did....."
Iris kept on thrashing her hands and legs while crying and screaming in Alex's grip. Tears were flowing from her eyes making her vision blurry but all she could see was her father's miseries. He was the only person left for her. She couldn't lose him.
"No......" She cried out seeing him losing his senses and Leonard kept on glaring at her form while continuing his work. For a second Iris could only think of a single situation, that was offering herself to them to save her father. There wasn't anything important that the man who raised her and she called him dad.
"Don't hurt him. I made a mistake. Punish me. Not him. I can do anything. Just leave him." Iris cried out, breaking her voice and thrashing more in that iron grip.
"No... Iris..... Kill me, Leonard... Let my daughter go...."
Tyler spoke while trying hard to breathe in Leonard's hold.
Releasing a little amount of pressure from Tyler's neck Leonard chuckled a little.
"Wow... What a lovely family scene... Father is willing to die for daughter and so does daughter too...."
"Leo, she is innocent. She doesn't know anything about us. Let her go. She means no harm."
Tyler stood up from the ground to shield his daughter. He had one chance to save Iris and he would do anything for her.
"Oh... But that doesn't mean she is not responsible for your deeds. What if she just chose the same path as you and your ancestors." Leonard chuckled while making a poker face.
Iris understood nothing. What was talking about? Her cries didn't stop but she couldn't even ask them.
"Leo, she is not like us. Whatever you want to do, you have me to torture. She can't shift herself. Let her go. She is just eighteen."
Tyler almost fell on his knees to save Iris but all he got was a hard punch on his face making him fall on the ground. There was a pin drop silence after that.
Her eyes widened the very next moment when she saw something that she had never seen in her life. Her father was not the same she had seen. Crouching down on the ground his back arched and a strange groaning sound started coming out from his mouth.
His feet started changing color and structure. Large nails were popping out from both his feet and palms.
"Dad....." Iris meekly said and with an ear-piercing sound, all she had seen was a large wolf standing in front of her ripping his t-shirt and pants.
"Dad.........." Iris cried out seeing his father turned into a big grey wolf. Never in her left, she had seen something like that. It felt like a dream or a clip taken from a movie. But she had to believe that as the incident happened in front of her naked eyes.
"Am I a wolf's daughter?" That was the first question that came to her mind when the realization hit her hard.
The man she had seen since her birth had just turned into a wolf. But how?
Alex released his grip pushing her forward. The same sort of groaning sound was heard from her behind and when she dared to look back she found another brown wolf almost equivalent to her father's height and structure standing there showing all of his brutal teeth. His one paw was scratching the ground preparing for a jump of her father whereas the growling could be heard from the other end too.
Her feet became jelly as she found herself standing in between two wolves. Slowly she felt a touch of fur at her right side when she noticed the grey wolf who was her father stood beside her growling in the same way.
For a second her eyes bored into the eyes of the wolf or her father. Yes. She saw the same eyes she had been seeing for so many years.
"Dad..... You.........." She managed to speak... When the wolf brought his face towards her and snuggled a little. She could feel the same comfort and warmth from the wolf.
A fatherly touch could never be forgotten.
In the next moment, both the wolf jumped at each other and a scream left her mouth.
"No......dad......". Iris screamed followed by another loud sound that came from Leonard's side.
"Alex... Finish him...."
But no one was ready to hear anything. Leonard was watching the fight as he knew his brother was more than capable of handling a roguelike Tyler.
The fight went on and all Iris could see was his father losing the battle. Her mind was getting blank. She could feel certain dizziness. She saw him thrown by Alex and then everything around her froze. Her feet stumbled as her body leaned backward but a painful grip came to hold her at her place. Leonard gripped her cheek while standing behind her to let her look at the disaster with her own eyes.
"Stop it..... Please.... don't kill my dad...." She sobbed while speaking in a muffled voice.
"Why sweetheart. This is just the start. Alex....." He growled and all Iris could see was the grey wolf lying on the ground with the brown one on it. He was ready to finish him off when Iris grabbed the hand Leonard that was holding her waist.
"No......No..... Don't do this.....I...I would do whatever you say. Let him go....."
Leonard smirked looking at her condition and turned his gaze on Alex again to stop him.
"Alex.......stop....."
The brown wolf left her father and walked towards them. After a few seconds, all she could see was a bleeding grey wolf standing on the ground with lots of difficulties. The moment her eyes confirmed her father's living status she tried to run towards him. But a strong grip stopped her from moving in that direction, reminding her of the caged condition which she had just chosen a few seconds back.
"Wrong move bitch..." She heard it right behind her ears and a harsh grip grabbed her throat.
"Say goodbye to your dad....." Leonard hissed while motioning something to his men.
"Say goodbye to your dad." Iris's blood froze as she clutched Leonard's hand more tightly with fear. Fear of losing her loved ones, her only family. "No... No... You said you won't hurt him... No .....dad....." She started screaming hard while trying to remove his grasp from her body. "Shhh..... You shout too much. Your dad is going back to his actual place. Your sweet home. Don't worry." The moment his words got finished grabbing her senses, she could see her father being held by three men. He knelt on the ground but his eyes were fixed on her. "Leave her, Leonard. She means no harm. Let her go." His father screamed for one last time when Leonard passed him an ugly smirk. "Your daughter has exchanged her life to save you. Don't you think you should be proud? At least you should be happy seeing her accepting our rules." Iris unde
Struggle. All she could do was struggle while lying on the car's surface being tied up like an animal. There was no hope left for her as the man in front squeezed out every single element of it. Her big doe-like eyes filled with tears could only plead at that moment. The journey was short-lived since she gained her consciousness back. After a certain minute, the car came to a halt. She understood the destination had arrived. The door was opened by another man who bowed his head to show gratitude to Leonard. Placing his foot on the ground he fixed his suit. Iris was wondering for how long she was unconscious. As Alex and Leonard, both were back in their new expensive suit and none of them held any further features of a wolf. "We have got a guest here. Hope she will like our treatment." Leonard was the first person to speak while looking in front of the bunch of men standing t
"Seth put the collar around her neck and bring the chain to me. I want my pet to crawl." Iris's eyes snapped open when her brain registered those words. She looked at the man's face who was sitting on a leather chair making it look like a king's appearance. His face held no sign of emotions. All she could see and feel was fear and pain right at that moment. His clenched jaw, extremely glowing golden orbs were passing nothing but chills down her spine. She could no longer take it and when her eyes shifted at her right hearing footsteps. She found a man coming towards her with a black collar that had small rings around to attach any sort of extension. "No... No... You can't...." She started scooting back fearing the material Seth was holding in his hand. She could feel her body shaking in utmost tremor. Before she could move back more, a harsh pull at her arms made her stop. "Sit still if you don't want t
"Strip. My men want to enjoy you." For a second Iris thought the time stopped at that instance. All those hateful gazes turned into some hungry lustful one. Those overly masculine men encircled her, making her shiver more under the heated gaze of Alpha Leonard. One statement and hundreds of those creatures started taking steps towards her. Even if a single person of those men touched her most brutally, she won't be able to make it up to being conscious let alone survive them all. Leonard sat silently watching the show that was happening in front of him. The mere human creature was standing on her feet with scraped knees, bruises in different areas, and above all a huge trail of fear in her eyes. She was breathing even though her heart dropped in the pit of her stomach. She barely understood what Leonard's words meant. If he wante
Leonard was fuming with anger when a mere girl insulted him in front of other pack members. He had the power to rip open her heart then and there. But that would be the easiest punishment for a Rogue's daughter who dared to point her finger. Derek was hovering over her, ripping her dress already into shreds. The way he was eye raping her body, anyone could easily understand the next steps. The rest of the pack members were just waiting for their turn to come up. She was still lying with her leftover strength but one could see her struggle for keeping alive consciousness. Her eyes were drooping and one warning from Leonard made her senses back at that point. The fear made her sensory organs active. For a second Leonard thought to let his men enjoy her. But remembering her last courageous words, he couldn't stop himself
Leonard's wolf Lycan growled inside watching the pale girl lying there being exhausted. "Claim her," Lycan growled once more but something stopped Leonard from watching the tear-stained face of her. She was lying there naked and bruised. Even though every single curve of her body was screaming high to manipulate him in the process of taking her, a part of his sanity denied the procedure right at that moment. Frustration was clear in his eyes yet he grabbed the duvet to cover her naked self. She was utterly destroying his peace of mind. Seth was correct. There should be some specific reason for which Tyler kept her daughter hidden for so long. He never allowed her to come back to Seattle and when she finally came back Tyler got panicked. Leonard sat on the bed beside her sleeping form. There was nothing extra that he could do at that moment. Her already drained-out body spoke of her condition. He placed his two fingers below her nose and then pressed them on her
Iris felt some stinging pain all over her body. When she tried to move her body a painful groan escaped her lips followed by another small yelp. Her eyes fluttered open and she tried to plop herself up on her elbows. The surface beneath her body felt hard and cold sending her chills through her scraped back. Flipping her body on her right she crawled a little to find at least a wall to support her back. Seconds after crawling she found herself sitting on the surface resting her back on the wall. There wasn't much light in the small cell. The room felt extremely dark and heavily smelly. One thing that shocked her a little was her untied hands and legs. Since she arrived here, most of the time she found herself tied up. Pushing herself up on her weak legs she tried to peek through the metal gate. The small dark corridor was empty but faint voices were coming from far. That was a clear indication of having guards posted around the cell. "Who keeps a human being li
The faster Iris ran the thicker the woods turned in. Every single time her path was getting blocked by the huge trees decreasing her pace. The leftover rays of the dying sun disappeared bringing darkness around her. The only ray of hope was the moonlight that drew a silver line through the woods allowing her to run towards an unknown destination. Even though she had a plan of reaching her father's secure embrace, the wood and her unplanned running didn't do much justice to her plan. Her bleeding feet, parched throat, dying breaths made her situation worse than she had expected. But she didn't stop thinking about the man back in the mansion who had promised to push her into his hell of torture.Leonard came out of the mansion with Alex and Seth. Few more pack members were already aligned and given instructions to do whatever was needed."Why are we not hurrying to find her?" Seth's impatient voice made Alex chuckle. He knew his brother Leonard always had better p
When Iris slowly fluttered her eyes open, she felt someone had kept boulders on her eyelids. There was so much drowsiness and heaviness that she felt to go back to her previous peaceful previous slumber. She didn't want to just keep on staring awkwardly at the ceiling. "So, you are finally awake." A little mocking yet deep voice was heard by her before she could escape reality. Her head was tilted sideways and all she could see was the devil giving her a different look at her condition. "You......" She didn't finish her last sentence remembering vaguely all those past incidents. The moment her mind captured the situation where she was badly bitten, her hand involuntarily moved towards the swell. "Ah...." A small hissing sound left her mouth when her hand touched the area and a small drop of tear left her eyes to roll down her cheek. Leonard was sitting on the couch placed a bit away from the bed, resting in a relaxing manner. But his eyes didn't leave her figure even for a second.
"I don't........" "What did you say?" Leonard let out a dry chuckle asking her the question. "I don't....." Iris spoke maintaining the same authoritative tone. "You are highly mistaken...." Leonard took a step closer to her making her flinch. "If you think....." He took another step closing the remaining distance in between them. "that your opinion matters." And thus he grabbed her throat in his tight grip giving it a scary squeeze to make her realize who had the ultimate power to take the final decision. "Pardon Alpha, you may......" Leonard tilted his head towards Jonathan who immediately closed his mouth being scared of dying a painful death in his hand. "I know her words or acceptance doesn't matter. But I wish to hear her sweet voice accepting her defeat in front of me." Leonard turned his head towards Iris watching her face going red due to lack of oxygen. Bringing his mouth close to her ears he whispered seductively to scare the shit out of her. "If you say yes, the proce
Iris was sitting in front of a mirror where two women were trying desperately to hide all her bruises caused by those tortures. Luckily that day Leonard didn't hit her with the vase made of glass. He threw it in such a way that she thought it would hit her face but apparently it smashed just beside her. Even just by remembering the situation, she could feel the hairs on her neck getting straightened up. "It should be like this. Cover that dark patch..." Iris's daze broke when she heard the girl who was helping her with the dress show the leftover unattended mark on her body to the other one to cover. "Oh. Yes. I miss that. There are too many." A dry laugh left Iris's mouth when she heard the reply of that girl who was fixing her condition. After thirty or more minutes those two girls left keeping Iris alone inside the room. Minutes passed when she heard a knock on the door and she didn't dare to spare a glance knowing that it would be her tormentor only. "Iris...." A female voi
Iris I always had a dream of marrying the man whom I would love with my heart and soul. I always thought to be in the arms of a man who would be the reason for my happiness and the cause of my well-being. I have always seen my father mourning my mother's death and I have also seen his love for her. I believed marriage is a sacred bond where not only two body becomes one but two souls entangled together. My man was always David since I started attending my classes in the UK. It was not because we had started dating each other, it is because we knew we are the reason for each other's happiness and betterment. "Dave..." A whisper left my mouth as I sat on the floor inside the room that was allotted by Alpha. I didn't even know what is this stupid mating ceremony or marking until I hear some whispers. The first person I could ask was the maid who was attending me since I started more time lying on a bed being injured. But one particular statement inflicted more fear in my system than Le
"Painful Punishment." These were the only two words that were utterly registered in her brain. She was shocked and her body went to flight mode. She didn't know what to do or how to react. All she knew was to run away. Madly she tried to pull her wrists away but his iron grip didn't help her much rather he smirked looking at her helplessness. She was frightened and her tears made their way out of her eyes. "Please... Please.... I don't know....let me... Go...". She started begging in her pleading voice but all fell on his deaf ears. He laughed dryly looking at her face and situation. When Samantha told him to kill Iris, he thought to snap Samantha's head but that would be igniting the old flame of war again. Somehow they chose this peace treaty which he couldn't let go of easily no matter what. Killing a witch would be his last option for sure. "Shhh... They are just questions sweetheart. Be a good girl and answer them properly." Leonard brought his face near her to speak and Iris
Two days passed and all Iris did was to wake up finish her morning routine take a shower and went back to sleep after taking medicine. Since Leonard and they shared that complicated encounter, she hadn't seen him coming to her room anymore. Her back healed and the pain subdued. Few faint scars were there along with that the marking of the knife stab. But the pain left and so did the other wounds. Still, the horrible memories were fresh in her mind. Now and then she was looking around her to confirm Leonard's absence. His presence always brought terror and pain to her. These days she didn't need to leave the room to show up as Leonard's maid. Even though she asked Agnes whether she was spared or not, Agnes chose to keep her mouth shut.Every night she went to sleep with a fear of waking up in front of him or beside him. Since she was utterly bruised he had twice kept her in his room. The day was sunny which made her mind a little happy. After taking the shower she
"Alex..... Alex...." Leonard yelled through his mind link while walking towards the study where his brother was supposed to be."Brother,"The door of the room burst open showing the face of anger filled monster that was none but Leonard itself."You better come with me." He gestured to Alex who was going through some documents. Even though they are werewolves they are a part of the biggest business. Rather the entire Knight Corporation was built by their ancestors and they kept on enlarging that making a significant place for them in the global business arena."What's wrong." Alex opened his mouth but looking at the furious state of his brother, he could clearly understand that everything was wrong."You better see it by yourself." Leonard became impatient and came closer to Alex."Fine. Let's go." Alex ignored the rest of his work and made his way upstairs with Leonard. Even in those few seconds, he was only thinking of n
The next morning when Iris woke up she found herself lying in the same room wrapped in a sheet. Her eyes landed on the nightstand where the water jug was kept. Balancing her body on her elbow she leaned a little to grab the jug to quench her thirst. But it wasn't easy especially when her right shoulder was badly injured. She extended her hand and carefully held the jug to pour herself a glass of water. She was about to pour the water when the door of her room burst open taking her attention completely away from the current task she was doing. As a result, her trembling hand missed holding the jug which fell on the floor shattering into pieces. Her eyes remained widened we she met those petrifying golden ones looking at her with some deadly intensity."Sorry... I didn't....." She tried to apologize for breaking the water jug but raised his hand to stop her in the middle."It's fine." His voice w
When Iris woke up in the morning all she could feel was a sharp pain in her back. But the warmth beneath her body was giving her some relief. Without opening her close she pushed her trembling body more towards the warmth to snuggle. Her fever didn't subdue and all she could search for was just a bit of comfort. She felt something hard and masculine when her hand tried to grab the thing on which she was resting her body. To her utter surprise, the feeling of human skin scared the shit out of her. But she was too exhausted to pull herself from her lying position.Blinking twice she opened her only to welcome a pair of golden orbs looking at her pale face."No......." A meek voice left her mouth when she tried to push herself from the danger zone but a strong arm wrapped around her body to keep her body still in its previous position."Ahh..." A scream left her mouth when she realized becau
